BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTBACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
We are hosting our annual Back to SchoolNight on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.5:00pm - 7:00pm.
During this event, we invite our families to
visit our campus and their students'classrooms to see what they have beenlearning and creating during the first 3 weeksof the year and get to know their students'teachers a little better.
Unfortunately, time does not permit one-on-one student evaluation or parent-teacherconferences regarding student performance,however, teachers can provide contactinformation for parents to reach out for futureappointments.
For this event only, parking will be permittedin the outside (right-hand) lane of car loop.

Pinecrest Academy of Nevadahas partnered with the NCSAA toprovide sports programming forthe 2019-2020 school year. TheNCSAA requires ALLATHLETES in grades K-8 tohave a current physical on file
with their online registrationplatform prior to participation inany NCSAA-sanctioned game orevent.

There is an annual $10registration fee and all athletes musthave a current physical available toupload. TO WALK, OR NOT TO WALK?TO WALK, OR NOT TO WALK?
All students who have been permitted to 'walk or ride off campus' by a parent or guardian arereleased to do so at 3:00pm3:00pm . These students must leave campus at this time and are notpermitted to linger during car loop dismissal. If you, as a parent or guardian, are walking on tocampus to meet your child, please use your 3-digit placard to pick up your student in thePanther Den at the back of the school and remove him/her from the "walker" list.

Data Days & Spirit Days occur once eachmonth - typically on the third Friday. For newfamilies, this means that students arestudents arereleased for the day at 11:30amreleased for the day at 11:30am -WALKERS must depart the campusWALKERS must depart the campuspromptly at that time.promptly at that time.The dismissal window runs from 11:30am -12:00pm with any remaining students oncampus escorted into our T.E.A.M.S.program. We will be hosting K-2 recreational flagfootball tryouts on WEDNESDAY,WEDNESDAY,AUGUST 28AUGUST 28 on the turf from 4:00pm -5:30pm (may end early).
Recreational does not mean intramural! Wewill play other schools' K-2 teams throughoutthe fall season. Games are typically held onSaturdays and K-2 athletes attend aminimum of one (1) practice per week afterschool.
Not all students will make the roster. NCSAAK-2 rules offer 'equal play' opportunities foreach athlete on the team so roster numbersmust be limited to allow each athlete time onthe playing field each week.
Additional K-2 sports will be available infuture seasons this year. Please contact ourAthletic DirectorsAthletic Directors for additional K-2opportunities.

A friendly reminder that students may not bedropped off to wait outside the gates, oncampus property, or on Cactus for the 7:30bell.
