Children’s ServicesTheir future is in your hands

The early years of a child’s life are critical for their health, development and wellbeing and you can be a part of this important journey with a course in children’s services or early childhood care.

Childcare and supporting children’s education is a privilege and a great responsibility. We will help you develop the skills and knowledge to meet the challenge of providing high quality care and plan fun, rewarding and educational experiences for children to reach their full potential during their formative years.

I love how flexible TAFE has been; I was able to work at the pace that suited me and I will have completed my diploma in under a year which is exactly what I hoped for. I found working externally suited me perfectly and with great communication from my teacher, TAFE has given me confidence and the requirements I need to start a university degree next year.

Choosing to study on campus at TAFE, was the best decision I made to kick-start my career. Not only have I had the opportunity to meet like-minded people but have highly experienced and dedicated teachers who structure courses in a way that delivers the best “hands on” approach, better preparing me for what it’s really like in the Industry. This is what propelled me to start my own successful Garden & Soil Servicing Business and I haven’t looked back.

Education, Training and Library ServicesExpand your mind, then other people’s!

Teachers, trainers and librarians are extremely well regarded and rewarding professions. We have all had a favourite teacher or mentor, but what is it that makes some people such great instructors and explainers? It’s a whole range of things from enthusiasm about learning and literature to effective planning, leadership and the ability to engage with students. We can teach you all these skills and how to share your knowledge so it is easily understood and enjoyed.

I needed year 10 maths for the Australian Defence Force entry. My teacher was very helpful and prompt. While completing the work, it was good to know that he was available if I needed help, and if he wasn’t he would get back to me quickly. I found the work easy to understand and well explained, and would definitely recommend this course and TAFE to anybody who asked.
