First of all I’d like to wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As we reach the end of 2017 and the half way point of the league season, we see our first team sitting in a comfortable position having won 12 of their 14 matches. Our second team has been very competitive in the Duchy League. Women’s rugby is growing from strength to strength and our youth section continues to thrive.I am also proud that in order to provide continuity, our collaboration with Falmouth RFC remains strong and has enabled us to provide rugby at U15’s and Colts level I would like to thank everyone who has supported the club this year and look forward to continued success in 2018.Deun yn-rag an Vurjestra !!Have a good Christmas

Kick-off at Tregorrick Park is 2pm. We return to league duty on 6th January with a trip to Wellington for a clash between the sides in second and third place in the Cornwall/Devon League.• Penryn Saracens moved up to fourth place in the Duchy League on 16th December with a 40-3 win at Bodmin. The Borough boys are just four points behind third placed Saltash with a game in hand. The U14s were one of the few Borough Minis and Juniors whose games survived on Sunday 17th December, they travelled to Hayle and put in a good showing despite a 31-17 defeat. Penryn Ladies will next be in action in the New Year when they host Bideford on 14th January.
