PUBLIC MASSES TO RESUME Mass attendance will be voluntary in the yellow phase. Those who are sick, do not feel safe, or who have compromising health conditions, should not attend. Please refer to the mailing sent to all registered parishioners last week (available on our website) for our new procedures. Below is a summary.

Mass Schedule beginning Tuesday, June 2 Immaculate Conception: Tuesday @ 8:00 a.m.; Saturday @ 4:30 p.m. St. Joseph Church: Thursday @ 8:00 a.m.; Sunday @ 8:00 a.m. Mass intentions for the remaining Masses will continue to be said privately by Fr. Ward.

• Masks are required by all Parishioners while in attendance.

• Only the parking lot door will be used for entering/exiting the church. Please do not use the Main doors to enter/exit the church.

• Attendance will be limited for Mass. At Immaculate Conception no more than 50 people will be permitted to be in the church at one time. Once we reach that capacity there will be no one else allowed inside church. This number may slightly vary if space allows, depending on family size attending. St. Joseph Church will have a capacity of 75.

• Only every third pew will be available and the choir loft will be closed. Those attending are asked to follow physical distance guidelines and remain at least 6 feet apart within the pews.

• Distribution of Holy Communion will take place following the closing of Mass. There will be marks on the floor to follow for the 6 foot physical distance allowance. Please line up single file in the center aisle. Communion can be received in hand or on the tongue but we encourage everyone to receive in the hand to keep exposure risks to a minimum for both you and Father Ward. Father will wear a mask during distribution of Communion. Do not lower your mask until you reach Father to receive Communion. After, please exit the church through the side parking lot door.

• The various votive candles in church will not be able to be lit by parishioners. Please ask an Ushers to help, or contact the Rectory office

• Bulletins will be available in church and on the Rectory porch. Please do not leave them in the pew- take them home with you.

THE FOOD PANTRY of St. Joseph Church has continued to provide for those in our area in need during the pandemic. Items in need are: Canned

Meat and any other dry/non-perishable goods. Donations can be dropped off on the back porch of St. Joseph Rectory. Thank you for your help!!

WE ARE STILL COLLECTING REGISTER RECIEPTS! Keep saving your register tape from both Jim Thorpe Market and Redner’s. You can drop them through the mail slot of the Rectory, or leave them in the basket in church. This is an easy way to raise money for your parish!! Please Note! For the church to receive credit for your REDNER’S receipts you must use your Save-A-Tape card for your purchase! By using this card each time you purchase merchandise at Redner's Warehouse Markets, your receipt will be designated as a Save-A-Tape customer receipt. Many thanks to Nancy Mason & Patricia Quinn for all your assistance with the program. THANK YOU to all who continue to support this fundraiser!! SUMMER WCC PROGRAM – Due to COVID-19 we are cancelling our summer WCC program. Our hope will be to offer classes on Sunday mornings this fall along with home schooling, but we will not know that until much later in the summer. Please contact Kathleen Merkel if you would like to homeschool this summer/fall for more information and supplies. Sacraments (First Communion, Confirmation) will not be scheduled at this time. CONTRIBUTIONS/ ENVELOPES: We realize that the pandemic can be causing financial hardship for many people and we are profoundly gratefully for those who are able to continue to financially support the Parish. Thank you to all who have mailed, dropped off, or electronically sent donations. While the collection basket will not be passed at Masses there will be a collection box in front of the Baptismal font where you can deposit your envelope as you enter/exit at Mass. You may also continue to drop them through the mail slot/send through the Post Office, use the E-offering page on our Website or the Diocesan Website. Also, consider contacting your bank to do an electronic transfer. Thank you for your understanding and support.
