I am thankful to God Almighty who has enabled me to finish this

report, praise to Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) who is forever torch of

guidance for mankind. It was very interesting as well as tough task for

me. I completed it with the help of some nice people.

We are dedicating our report to GIFT University, our teachers and our

friends whose support has enabled us to do work, and especially to our

Course Instructor Sir Abid Awan. Who technically enabled and guided

us in working and making efforts upon this project till completion.

INTRODUCT`ION:

PIND DAY, as the name suggests is an event in which we represent PIND Culture.

We organize a successful event in GIFT University with the name of PIND DAY (

میل دیسی ). This event held on 16th and 17th of February, 2015. Primarily in this

event we present the village culture, their way of living, food items purely based

on village, and dresses which generally wear in typical villages of Pakistan. It is

first time in the history of Gujranwala and GIFT University that this type of event

would be arranged. Students wear the dresses and make their getup according to

typical village style.

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS:

Our basic objective is to make this event successful and make this a bench mark for the future students who will continue this as organizers of this event.

Our basic goals attached to this event are as follows;

Represent Pind culture among university students. Implement concept and knowledge of the personal selling in practical way

by facing all the challenges Another objective associated for us in this event is to make a profit earning

of 22,000 per person to meet our PERSONAL SELLING project objective.

HISTORY OF THIS EVENT:

This event was first carried out in UMT. We are the first who organize this event in GIFT UNIVERSTY. This event also carried out in different universities like

GIFT UNIVERSITY PIND DAY ( می دیسیہل )LUMS, UCP, NUML, and UMT and now in GIFT UNIVSERSITY GRW. We are the initiators who took this opportunity and decided to organize PIND DAY in GIFT UNIVERSITY.

Promotion:

For the promotion of our event we advertise our event through different ways like Flexes, standees, Word of mouth, social media (Face book Page, Gmail).

PRICE:

The entrance fee for the event would be 200.

Working in Project:

Every work is divided equally among all the members of this group. Every

member is responsible for their own work and work is divided among the members

of group according to the areas in which they are specialized.

Muhammed Mughni is responsible for all marketing and selling activities.

Hamza Ashraf is responsible for stalls because he is good in bargaining and

dealing with peoples

communication.

Abubakar is responsible for Finance. Because he is good in fraud

Challenges Face during the Project:

Challenge is the part of life we face challenges in every step of life while

completing this project we face different challenges relating this project some of

these are as follow.

Biggest challenge that we face is this we all don’t have the experience of

organizing an event. It is the first time for all of us to organizing an event in

university.

Second challenge that we face is from our competitor’s side our two big

competitors GBS Leadership and GBS Atvina create hype in opening

ceremony of their event and we have to beat both of them and make a

successful opening.

Market Strategy

We use different way of marketing for the promotion of our event. First we

decided to start our promotion through Gmail we send E-mail to university

students and after that we meet our friends and tell about our plan and ask for help

convey our message to our target audience. We also use Print Media and

Electronic Media like Flexes, Standees, Gmail, and Face book Page for PIND

DAY promotion.

After the promotion of our event we decided that we have to arrange an opening

ceremony of our event where we give idea to our University fellows that what

actually we want to do. In Opening ceremony we give the promo of our event and

arrange the entire decoration look like PIND our dress theme is also base on PIND

Culture. We also represent 4 different culture of Pakistan in which we present

specific targeted culture dress and their dance.

Learning outcome:

There are lots of things that we learn through this event some of these are as follow.

We learn how to get sponsorship. We learn how to work in a group. We gain confidence and learn discipline. We learn how to deal in professional life and how to make deal with

professional peoples. Before this event we don’t have any kind of experience of dealing in professional life.
