Areoflite Aviation Corp.of independence, a young Filipino pilot from Aparri took the national celebration with a higher patriotic stunt for his dream, "to develop, train and produce world-class pilots". Captain Arnel U. Miguel inspired by his dream founded a flight school – Aeroflite Aviation Corporation. Formerly a top flight instructor in one of the pioneer aviation schools in the country; he exhausted his skills and knowledge, not to mention his resources, in teaching his students to become great pilots.

Meanwhile, while managing the flying school, Aeroflite Aviation Corporation also ventured into a successful air charter business both for cargo and passenger. Utilizing small prop aircrafts, the company has become one of the respected air-charter entities in the industry.

After pooling of aviation experts, constant coordination with the Air Transportation Office of the Philippines, seeking guidance with the Philippine and other foreign consulate offices and years of research and studies, Aeroflite finally developed the four-year Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating Course into a compact 6 to 7 months training without sacrificing the quality of education one student needs to prepare him/her in a prominent world-class airline pilot job. It was in the year 2005 when The 6 to 7 months CPL with IR course was launched to small batch of foreign students.

In the last quarter of 2006, Aeroflite finally settled in place they call home; the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. Subic Bay a major tourist destination in the Philippines for its safe, combination of modern and peaceful living with an array of breathtaking beaches and resorts.

Today, Aeroflite has a fleet of 25 training aircraft maintained by factory trained mechanics and affiliated repair stations that ensures optimum safety before each student with aircraft takes off.

With the present aviation logistics of Aeroflite, it could produce up to 200 students in a year. Presently, Aeroflite has a 150 mixture of local and foreign students.

Courses:

PRIVATE PILOT PROGRAM

The adventure of flying begins with your private pilot's certificate. With this license you can venture out into the world of aviation. Whether you plan to fly for fun, give rides to friends and family, provide yourself with transportation, or simply build time and experience for future ratings, it all begins with the private certificate. While achieving the private certificate, you will receive instruction in the basic operations of an airplane. Although some people try to finish much of the ground training before they start flying, we feel that the best approach is to integrate the ground training with the flight training.

You will be in the cockpit from day one getting hands-on practical experience. Ground training will cover diverse topics such as airport operations, radio procedures, weather, navigation, and more. The first major goal for you is to fly the airplane solo. During your solo flight training you will learn manueuvres such as emergency procedures and takeoffs and landings, as well as how to operate safely at a tower-controlled air port. The first solo flight is an experience that is never forgotten. After solo, you will move onto more advanced lessons covering areas such as night and cross-country flying.

During the final stage of training, you will sharpen and polish your skills in preparation for the practical examination (check ride) conducted by a Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) designated examiner. Upon successful completion of the practical examination, you will be issued a private certificate. The CAAP minimum hourly requirement for a private airplane certificate is 100 hours of ground training and 40 hours of flight training, although the average completion time to be proficient enough is around 50-60 flight hours.

COMMERCIAL PILOT PROGRAM

Page 8: Pilot Training in Philipines

Whether your professional goal is to fly a Boeing 747, a crop-duster, or a Cessna 172 for hire, you must obtain a commercial pilot's certificate. The commercial training focuses on advanced aerodynamics, professionalism, passenger considerations, and the rules and regulations that govern commercial operations. Additionally, the commercial training program will teach you to fly an airplane to higher and more precise standards than were required in the private training program. As a commercial student you will also learn to master the operation of a complex-aircraft.

Most students opt to earn an instrument rating after their private in the States. This is a great way to build the required hours between the private certificate and the commercial certificate. The CAAP minimum hourly requirement for instrument rating is 25 hours of ground and flight training and 120 hours of minimum PIC time.

Exceptional Pilot Training Programs and PackagesFull Package

Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Multi-Engine Rating (MER) and Instrument Rating (IR)

When working towards a Commercial Pilot License, you take your piloting skills to an even higher level. The increase in ability brings an increase in opportunity. Having a Commercial

Page 13: Pilot Training in Philipines

Pilot License not only rewards you financially but also opens the world of aviation to you. Until you are rated for instrument flight and multi-engine flight, you will have flight limitations.

Unless you are rated for instrument flight, you cannot go beyond a 50-nm radius from your home airport and are unable to fly at night. Moreover, if you are not rated for multi-engine flight, you won't be able to experience the benefits of flight in a multi-engine airplane. This is a "true flight."

With an Instrument Rating, even if you encounter inclement weather patters, you can still attend those far away business meetings. You have permission to take-off and land at busy airports and have no flight distance limitations. An Instrument Rating hones your piloting skills while giving you countless opportunities to fly. With a multi-engine rating you will be able to fly higher and go faster. A career in aviation is at your doorstep once you obtain a multi-engine rating. A multi-engine rating opens up a world of opportunities, not just as a pilot but in many different parts of the airline industry.

AAA Academy offers a generous package program consisting of CPL with MER and IR. This package is applicable to students both with and without previous flight training. We customize the flight training hours to meet the needs and requirements of our students and their home countries' authorities of civil aviation such as Indian DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation).

Our basic full package

1st Step - PPL training from 00 hours to 60 hours

A student must complete PPL training. PPL training consists of 110 hours ground schooling and 60 hours flight training, 50 hours of which should be in C152, and 10 hours of which in C172. A student should become a confident PPL holder after the 1st step. Step 1 can be completed in approximately two months.

Page 14: Pilot Training in Philipines

2nd Step – CPL trainings from 61 hours to 170 hours (Can be customized to your needs)

Students will undergo flight training and 160 hours of ground schooling simultaneously. A student must fly an additional 110 hours a C152. After completing the 2nd step, a student must pass the CPL examination, which will be essential for additional ratings of IR and MER. Step 2 can be completed in approximately three months.

3rd Step – IR ground training with 20 hours Flight Simulator training (Can be customized)

Before beginning actual flight training, students must take 70 hours of IR ground schooling and 20 hours of Flight Simulator Training in our Level III Advance Flight Training Device (AFTD). Step 3 can be completed in approximately three weeks.

4th step – IR and MER flight training from 171 hours to 200 hours (Can be customized)

A student must fly 10 hours in a C172 first in order to study basic IR flight. After that, MER flight training will start. A student must fly a total of 20 hours in a PIPER SENECA PA-34-200. Students will attend Instrument Rating and Multi-Engine Rating courses at the same time. After 10 daytime hours of basic flight in a PIPER SENECA at IBA Airport, another 10 night flight hours in a PIPER SENECA shall be held at NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport). AAA Academy is the only school that gives its students the opportunity to experience their actual night flights with instruments in a twin-prop airplane. Step 4 can be completed in approximately 1 month including 12 hours ground schooling of MER.

Page 15: Pilot Training in Philipines

To be eligible for a commercial pilot license, you must be at least 18 years of age. This is a CAAP requirement. However, this doesn't mean you can't begin an aviation career later in life. It is never too late to get a Commercial Pilot License.

With a Commercial Pilot License, with IR and MER, the opportunities really begin to emerge. As a commercial pilot, you can now be rewarded for your piloting skills. In other words, you can get paid to fly. This license brings limitless opportunities in aviation industry.

PPL Package (Private Pilot License)

"Everyone starts with a Private Pilot License - even an airline captain."

Step one is to receive your Student Pilot License (SPL) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and a 3rd class CAAP medical certificate. Once you complete the SPL process, you will be qualified for our Private Pilot License (PPL) Program Course, which allows you to experience the real joy of flying.

You must be at least 16 years old to obtain a Student Pilot License, which will permit you to fly solo (without your instructor). You must be at least 17 years of age to receive a PPL. It's never too late to learn to fly - we have pilots that rent airplanes from AAA ACADEMY that are 70 years old and are still flying regularly.

Page 16: Pilot Training in Philipines

National studies have shown that the average person needs approximately 50 hours of flight time and about 110 hours of ground instruction to pass the Practical and Written Examination of the CAAP and obtain a Private Pilot License. We will accommodate all of your needs to maximize training efficiency and ensure that you will complete your course in two months.

With your PPL, you will be able to rent an airplane at any time. This means that you will be able to take your family or friends to countless destinations for the day or a week.

**There are some limitations. You may not be compensated for flying. The weather conditions in which you may fly are limited. It is recommended to take our Instrument Rating Course (IR) for your safety and advancement. Also, the Commercial Pilot Course (CPL) is available for students who want to fly as commercial pilots.

**For foreign students who have difficulty reading, writing, listening and/or speaking English, AAA ACADEMY provides an optional English Preparatory Course before the ground schooling starts.
