POSITION MORE – MPT TRAVEL CO-ORDINATOR
The Travel Co-ordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Operations Support Manager with regards to accounts, payments and reconciliations.
Key Focus Areas • Capturing bank accounts daily;
• Ensure that spreadsheet speedpoint balances each day to amount in the bank;
• Ensure that bank reconciliations balance each day;
• Capture refund on Bank from statement & note for Confirmed Booking sheets;
• Inputting Finance sheets into Excel document;
• Checking that all money has been collected;
• Checking that profit has been made on the file;
• Sending out invoices to the TE’s to check their invoices;
• Printing out the correct invoices and checking they balance to the statement;
• Capturing all invoices from suppliers accurately and to the correct account codes;
• Doing the remittance at month end;
• Ensuring that Pastel balances to the credit card statement at month end;
• Keeping third-party supplier lists updated on the share drive;
• Looking after STO contracts file and making sure new rates are updated;
• Check on provisional bookings made every day.
Requirements -
Qualifications and Skills • Grade 12
• Qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping (advantageous)
• 3-5 Years’ experience in a similar role
• Pastel
• MS Excel
• PAN (advantageous)
