PowerSpeed AS1Universal Motor System

The PowerSpeed AS1motor system

has been designed and developed

for universal use in specialist disci-

plines with high requirements for

comfort of use and ergonomic hand-

ling. Areas of application are spinal

surgery, bronchoscopy, arthroscopy,

general operative orthopaedics and

trauma surgery.

With the newly developed bluetooth

footswitch, the PowerSpeed AS1 is

easy to use with optimally combined

functionality in the direct operational

environment.

Wireless footswitch

One of the innovations is the special developed bluetooth foot- switch, which can be used as a wireless connection to PowerSpeed AS1-Control unit. Alternatively, the new footswitch can be used via an optionally available backup cable as cable-bound foot- switch. With this type of connectionthe internal battery is charged.

Communication interface to the FLUID CONTROL Arthro

Once the FLUID CONTROL Arthro/Spine 2204 is connected with the PowerSpeed AS1 the wash mode can be used via the bluetooth footswitch of the shaver.

Furthermore, in this case, the new function "Shaver-Mode" can be acti-vated, which determines the pressure and flow in the joint during the acti-vation of the motor handpiece.

OR integration system core nova

To use the full functionality of the PowerSpeed AS1, it can communi-cate with various external devices.

If the PowerSpeed AS1 is connected with core nova, the console can be used via the integration system and information can be displayed in the core nova browser too.

When a M5 motor handpiece is connected, this will be recognized and the tool recognition starts.

After a short time, the detected tool is displayed for 10 seconds and the parameters and the previous usage data can be read.
