The SAVCA 2020 Conference:SAVCA has presented an annual private equity industry conference since the early years of its inception. The conference is a highlight of the industry calendar and a key deliverable by SAVCA to its members.

In 2019, the SAVCA Private Equity Conference attracted 437 delegates who represented local and international institutional investors, fund managers, advisors and policy makers SAVCA is pleased to present its next industry conference from 26 to 27 February 2020 for Private Equity at Spier Wine Farm, Stellenbosch, South Africa.

The theme of the SAVCA 2020 Conference is: Connect. Collaborate. Commit.

With an emphasis on words starting with “Co”, the conference will showcase various aspects affecting the industry with particular emphasis on opportunities to Connect, exploring ways to Collaborate and ultimately to Commit to the future and growth of the industry and the country.

The conference agenda will be shaped around “Co” concepts, with a focus on what it means for the private equity industry.

SAVCA will be handing out specially designed delegate bags to all delegates at registration. These bags will assist delegates

to keep all hand-outs, and publications provided during the conference, together. The bags will feature the sponsors’ logos

in a way which is directly visible to delegates during the conference.

Following the conference, the delegates can drop off their delegate bags at registration, at the designated CSI box. These

bags will be donated to pre-selected charities. The charities will be selected by SAVCA.

Invoicing and Payment details

• All rates exclude 15% VAT.

• After confirmation of the sponsorship booking, an invoice for a 50% deposit of the agreed amount will be sent for

immediate payment on receipt of invoice.

• Payment of the remaining 50% will be payable by 31 October 2019.

• Any new bookings received after 31 October 2019 will be liable for 100% of the invoice cost – immediately payable on

receipt of invoice.

• Payments can be done via EFT.

• Should payment not be received by the due dates, the Conference Office retains the right to release and re-sell the stand

position or re-sell the sponsorship package.

Cancellation Policy

• The sponsorship deposit payment of 50% is non-refundable.

• Cancellations of sponsorships will still be accepted up to 31 October 2019.

• Full sponsorship cancellation fees will be applicable from 1 November 2019 onwards.

Liability Insurance

The Sponsor agrees to be responsible for his property and person and for the property and persons of his employees and

agents and for and third party who may visit his space. The Sponsor shall hold harmless the Host and Organiser from any

and all damages/claims including those usually covered by a fire and extended–coverage policy. The Sponsor will have to

provide proof of the applicable public liability insurance.
