Providing a fast, flexible and comprehensive sub contract inspection services from our environmentally controlled UKAS laboratory in Telford, UK. Sub contract measurement includes but not limited to: F.A.I.R., F.O.I.R., Gauge R&Rs, Capability Studies, Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, Programming and Bespoke Fixturing.

Our Inspection services facilities feature the very latest calibration and inspection equipment. All equipment is fully maintained, calibrated and traceable to UKAS standards. Accredited and rigorously audited to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 procedures ensure the absolute quality and accuracy of all measurement data.

MODULAR FIXTURINGThe modular fixturing system is designed to assist the programmer to repeatedly locate and hold components in the most effective manner for measuring on your CMM or optical machine. Capable of of fixturing most parts, the system works by screwing modular components to elevate, locate and secure into a baseplate, these can be connected to form part of a larger system if required.

AEROFOIL FIXTURINGDesigned and developed by Torus, the aerofoil fixturing system has the ability to hold a range of aerofoils for repeatable location. The aerofoil is clamped using reversible location jaws onto the fir tree root, and can accomodate forms using a roller size from 1mm to 6mm. The jaws have a vee form enabling access to measure the root.

BESPOKE FIXTURINGTorus provide both the design & manufacture of the CMM fixturing along with programming if required and thorough testing. Bespoke fixtures provide durability for parts inspected daily in a high-production environment. The fixturing has the ability to load multiple parts for inspection and to provide fixturing for complex parts to be inspected accurately, efficiently and repeatably.
