MT/yr E-waste will be generated after 4-5 years.

The principle idea of E-waste management is to

recycle the E-waste generated. Authorized

vendors of electronic goods will take back their

old equipment/cartridge/toner rolls etc. and pay

some concessions on the new equipment. On

the other hand, reusable material like

cartridges/toners will be refilled and reused.

Outdated computers/ fax/ phones etc. will be

value added and sold to downstream uses

through resellers. These arrangements will be

made with existing CPCB authorized vendors to

simultaneously & effectively reduce the quantity

of E-waste generated and also to generate

substantial revenue for running the management

system. Whatever E-waste left, will be collected

separately in HDPE drums and will be stored in

special containments, onto puckka platforms

and under lock and key. The collected e –waste

will be handed over to the CPCB authorized

vendors for further disposal.

generated from office toilets and same will be

treated and disposed through soak pits via septic

tanks.

permission.

No No rail or sea traffic involve in the project. Our

project site is well connected by road, So no

new road will be laid during construction or

operation of the project activities except for

internal roads.

No The project site is located in a developed area. It

is well connected by roads to whole of the city,

so there will be no alteration of routes or lying

down of new routes done due to project

activity. Internal roads within the project site

will be constructed for smooth movement of

after getting prior permission from CGWA.

Runoff as the required land for the project is

with no any water body near the project site.

For collecting storm water, storm water

drainage network has been provided during the

design as per the guidelines. Adequate measures

will be taken to collect run off and suitable

garlanding drain as per the existing contours of

the plot will be developed.

1.25 Transport of personnel or materials

for construction, operation or

decommissioning?

Yes Transport of personnel/material during the

construction and operation of the project shall

be envisaged. Construction material shall be

transport through trucks /lories During the

operational phase sufficient parking space will

be provided for the vehicles like scooters, cars

and bus.

No This is a new construction of Building project,

hence no Long-term dismantling or

decommissioning or restoration works.

Yes During construction phase All the workers

employed / hired will be from nearby areas.

(Residents 3942 + 2385 Visitor) persons will be

involved in the project.

this is a building construction Group Housing

project in which all the trees and plants that are

proposed to be planted are native to the area.

No There will no loss of native species or genetic

diversity as the site is vacant and avoid any

major plant/Tree species. Although no such case

is reported from the area so far. As

environmental disturbance is not much and it is

not likely in future also.

2.1 Land especially undeveloped or

agricultural land (ha)

No The land involve in project is undeveloped land

which is given on lease /allotted by GNIDA. The

total land area of the project is 2.0 Hect. (20000

Sqm/4.94 Arces). The area earmarked for

residential land use purpose as per master plan of

the area. The area around the project site is

under rapid development.

Yes During Construction phase water requirement

will be 35 KLD to 60 KLD, which will be source

through hired water Tankers arrange by

contractor.

During Operation phase total water requirement

for the proposed project activity will be 425 KLD

which includes Fresh water (286 KLD) and

recycled water (139 KLD).

The water will be sourced from Hired Private

Water Tankers supplying water from safe zone.

Waste water will be treated in STP. Dual

Plumbing system has been proposed for recycling

the treated water for flushing, horticulture

purpose.

During the operation phase of the project, the

noise emission is caused only due to DG sets

installed for backup power supply. As the DG

Due to the various construction activities, there

will be short-term noise impacts in the immediate

vicinity of the project site. The construction

N.B.C. guidelines of India pertaining to fire

hazards. They will apply good construction

safety practices at the project. All precautionary

measures will be adopted and use of protective

footwear and helmet will be mandatory.

Fire safety measures include Fire extinguishers,

Water tanks, Yard hydrants, hose reels,

automatic detection system, illuminated Exit

signs, sprinkler system and compartmentalisation

There are very little chances of explosion,

under the health & safety norms for the

1. The projects involving clearance under Coastal Regulation Zone Notification, 1991 shall

submit with the application a C.R.Z map duly demarcated by one of the authorized agencies,

showing the project activities, w.r.t. C.R.Z (at the stage of TOR) and the recommendations of

the State Coastal Zone Management Authority (at the stage of EC). Simultaneous action shall

also be taken to obtain the requisite clearance under the provisions of the C.R.Z Notification,

1991 for the activities to be located in the CRZ.

2. The projects to be located within 10 km of the National Parks, Sanctuaries, Biosphere

Reserves, Migratory Corridors of Wild Animals, the project proponent shall submit the map

duly authenticated by Chief Wildlife Warden showing these features vis-a-vis the project

location and the recommendations or comments of the Chief Wildlife Warden "thereon (at

the stage of EC)."

3. All correspondence with the Ministry of Environment & Forests including submission "of

application for TOR/Environmental Clearance, subsequent clarifications, as may be required

from time to time, participation in the EAC Meeting on behalf of the project proponent shall

be made by the authorized signatory only. The authorized signatory should also submit a

document in support of his claim of being an authorized signatory for the specific project".
