Everyone has bias. Liberals and Conservatives view and present policies through the lenses of their ideology. Your group will receive two different news articles on the same issue…one is liberal, the other conservative. You will have to1) Choose your roles (3mins)2) Read and annotate your article(s). Answer the Qs from your role’s poster on a

separate sheet of paper w/ your name and role. (15 mins)3) Share your answers to your role’s Qs with your group (3 mins each)4) Discuss the Essential Q: What is the Affordable Care Act? Why are liberals and

conservatives so polarized over this issue? Which side do you think is right? Why? (Use at least 1 piece of evidence from the readings) (3mins ea)
