Neilan to the status of Assistant Secretary of the bank. Elizabeth, a native and resident of Fall River, has been employed by the bank for fifteen years, and becomes one of the first two women in the his- tory of the bank to receive officer status. Raytheon's North Dighton Plant Attracts Sixteen Bryantites

Among the many newer industries of New England is that of Electronics, and the Raytheon Manufacturing Company plant in North Dighton, Massachusetts has absorbed the talents of several re­cent Bryant graduates.

El izabeth A. Neilan, '43 Elected To Ba nk Officer Status

President William H. Swift III, of the Plantations Bank of Rhode Island an­nounced the election of Miss Elizabeth A. Neilan to the status of Assistant Secretary of the bank.

Elizabeth, a native and resident of Fall River, has been employed by the bank for fifteen years, and becomes one of the first two women in the his­tory of the bank to receive officer status. She is an alumnus of Sigma Iota Chi, and was recently a member of a panel

appointed several Bryant alumni to his administration.

On December 15 the Newport Alumni Club of Bryant College held a Christ­mas Party at "Linden Gate" in New­port.

Gifts were exchanged by those present, and a mystery raffle was held.
