Target Audience:This conference is designed forcardiologists, cardiothoracicsurgeons, cardiac sonographers, cardiac intensivists, cardiacanesthesiologists, perfusionists,PAs, ARNPs, and RNs.

SYMPOSIUM OBJECTIVESAs a result of attending this symposium, participants will be able to:• Evaluate the treatment options for the child with pulmonary atresia-intact ventricular septum

with coronary fistula/sinusoids, based on current research presented at this conference toprepare an appropriate plan of care for each patient, based on clinical presentation.

• Formulate an appropriate plan of care for the child presenting with anomalous left maincoronary artery from the pulmonary artery, based on current research presented at thisconference.

• Assess the advantages and disadvantages of conventional surgical treatment versustranplantation for the child with hypoplastic left heart syndrome complicated by myocardialsinusoids/coronary fistulas based on best practices presented at this conference.

• Formulate an educational plan to enhance the skills and knowledge of the multi-disciplinary teamin caring for patients exhibiting rare and challenging dilemmas, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Correctly identify cardiac anatomy and the cardiac morphology of congenital cardiac lesionsthrough examination of morphological specimens of human hearts.

Agenda and Faculty are subject to change.
