BBA, LL.B. (Hons.) provides an integrated understanding of theinterrelationship between management studies and law in theirentirety. B.Sc. (Technology), LL.B. (Hons.) inculcates intensiveknowledge of contemporary technologies thereby establishing adirect correlation between upcoming techno-legal disputes andIPR issues. The Course is designed to prepare specialized techno-legal professionals. B.P.Sc., LL.B. (Hons.) courses have been selectedand structured to add further value to the Law Courses alongsideproviding an in-depth knowledge of Public Policy and Analysis tothe students. The multidisciplinary approach to the study of lawhas yielded a rich harvest of technical, theoretical and practicalknowledge, and has immensely benefited the students� learningbesides enhancing their knowledge and skills in a demandinglycompetitive market.

The University has unveiled a unique LL.M. program in CorporateLaws to nurture young talent for achieving the pinnacle of legalperfection. The University also offers LL.D. and Ph.D. programsin the quest for attaining excellence in higher education. Over the years demand for increasing expertise and expectancyhas led to the formation of various specialized centers namelySchool of Insurance Studies, Studies in Banking and Finance,Human Rights Education and Research, IPR Laws, Studies inTaxation, Studies in Capital Market, Human ResourcesManagement Initiatives and Industrial Relations Studies etc. TheseCenters work on prestigious academic and corporate projects andfacilitate students in the understanding of the intricacies of research,corporate work culture and develop an insight into alternativeforms of learning. The Ministry of Human Resource Development,Government of India has also instituted the Chair on IntellectualProperty Rights at the National Law University, Jodhpur duringthe 11th Five Year Plan to promote teaching and research inIntellectual Property Rights.

Pedagogy:

NLU, Jodhpur has well equipped Moot Court Schedules tofamiliarize students with the courtroom atmosphere long beforetheir actual arrival on the legal scene to inculcate skills of correctresearching, in depth analysis of precedents and develop excellentoratory skills. National Law University, Jodhpur team was the onlyone out of two Indian teams to have made it to the top 16 amongstover 120 Law Schools competing worldwide at Shearman andSterling Rounds of 50th Philip C. Jessup International Law MootCourt Competition 2009 held at Washington D.C. The Universityteam was also runners up at Susan J. Ferrell Intercultural HumanRights Moot Court Competition at Miami. The list of rewardsand accolades won by our talented and dynamic students is longand impressive. The University inculcates social and humanitarian consciousnessin the students early on by seeking their involvement in providingfree legal aid to the needy, spreading legal awareness among thedowntrodden, organizing camps in inaccessible backwaters tospread legal knowledge.

Infrastructure:Located on the outskirts of the city of Jodhpur on the highwaytowards Western Rajasthan, the University campus provides anideal setting for nurturing effective academic learning. The nervecenters of the University campus are the Halls of Learning, anextensively well documented air-conditioned library with accessto leading treaties and books, top-notch national and internationaljournals and all major on-line resources, computer lab, with facilityto download, print and photocopy; air-conditioned multimediaequipped Wi-Fi connected lecture theatres that provide instantglobal connectivity, conference hall and meeting rooms. 24 x 7connection to internet at 8 Mbps speed and Wi-Fi connectivitythroughout the campus are prominent techno savvy features ofthe university.

NLU, Jodhpur has an excellently developed and efficiently managedinfrastructure for a comfortable stay on campus. The Universitycampus houses six Boys and five Girls Halls of Residences withsingle seated rooms which are equipped with campus LAN andthe Internet. The common mess, with a surrounding green gardenand cafeteria is a meeting place for the students and has beendesigned to foster academic and social activities. Health andWellness facility in the form of a Dispensary with medical staff24X7 to take care of each student�s medical requirements isavailable on campus. Essential services like Bank, laundry andhousekeeping are provided to ensure a comfortable stay on campus.The University also provides facilities for various indoor andoutdoor sports and a well-equipped gymnasium with separatetrainers for boys and girls in the Halls of Residences. In its effortto cater to the multifarious talents of students in residence, theUniversity has also developed a Culture Centre and Music andRecreation room. The complete safety of students is insured bythe presence of trained Security Guards throughout the campus.

Internship & Placement:NLU, Jodhpur has a well structured Internship program withreputed law firms, corporate houses, Judges, leading lawyers,financial institutions and NGOs to help the students achieve theobjective of imbibing practical knowledge on applicability of lawand �learning law in action�. National Law University, Jodhpurhas signed MoU�s with select Foreign Universities for exchange ofstudents, faculty and co-operative teaching.

Intake and Reservation:(a) Undergraduate Programs:

The intake capacity of all the three undergraduate degree programsi.e., B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.); B.Sc. (Technology), LL.B. (Hons) andB.P.Sc., LL.B. (Hons) put together, shall be Hundred (100).Students shall be allotted courses/stream at the time of admission.There shall be 15% for SC and 7.5% reservation for ST categorystudents. 03% seats in each category are reserved for physicallychallenged students.
