Tested the missile complex known as McMorrow Laboratories (building 5400) on the Redstone Arsenal military base for Radio Frequency leaks. Shielded chambers included RF1, RF2, MM1, WSS, and support chambers. Test Frequencies ranged from 10 khz-94.5 ghz. MM1 had 5 support chambers and were tested from radio frequency ranges 10khz-94.5ghz. All radio frequency shielded chambers were specified to have no less than 120 dB of attenuation, from a distance of no greater than 4 feet from said shielded enclosure. To determine the calibration of 120 dB, antennae were placed on stands exactly 48" from each other, transmitted and documented.

The main equipment used were the Hewlett Packard 8562a Spectrum Analyzer, and an HP 0-18ghz Signal generator. Equipment beyond 18 ghz was specialized equipment. Antennae ranged from the "whip" antenna used for the electrics field, magnetic loops for the magnetics field, dipoles for the planewaves field, and horns for the microwaves and millimeter fields. Actually had the honor of being the first R/F test technician to test 60ghz on a shielded enclosure. 60ghz is a frequency that vibrates like oxygen.

Also tested 2 missile chambers at the Eglin AFB GWEF facility in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. Radio Frequency ranges varied from 10khz-18ghz. All specs were same as above.
