The flowers on the altar this weekend have been donated by St Peter the Apostle Migrant Ministry. The second collection this weekend is for Retired Religious. We will not have refreshments after the Masses this Sunday, September 27th. Father Lito sends his gratitude and sincere thank you to all parishioners at St. Peter’s for their kindness while he was Pastor here. Confirmation classes will begin this Sunday, September 27th after the 10:30 AM Mass in the library. Mass is cancelled Tuesday, September 29th and Wednesday, September 30th due to Fr. Roger and Fr. Jimmy attending Acculturation Seminars for new international priests in Richmond. Adoration will follow 9:00 AM Mass on Friday, October 2nd. Please use the sign up sheet in the foyer.
October is the month of Our Lady and we will say the rosary 15 minutes before all Masses during the month. Volunteers are needed to lead the rosary. Please contact the church office or Josephine Nardone at 442-7511 if interested.

Continued Fr. Roger and Fr. Jimmy wish to begin visiting homes for ‘Home and Family Blessing’. The first schedule is in the foyer and if you wish to have your home blessed, please complete the information beside the date and time convenient for you. Your complete physical address and phone number are very important. The 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held in Nassawadox on Saturday, October 3rd starting at 8:30 AM. If anyone is interested in walking please call Christine Waldenmaier at 757-787-3013 or email [email protected]. Together maybe we can find a cure for this terrible disease! Extraordinary Ministers, please pick up the October schedule from your mailbox. Financial Peace University registration will be after Masses on September 27th and October 4th. Classes will begin on Sunday, October 11th. This 13 week class will be from 1 – 3 PM on Sundays in the Religious Ed building. The fee for your materials is $ 95.00. For more information please call Jennifer Langley at 787-3161 or 894-8319. Please listen to WESR radio, 103.3 FM for weather-related Mass cancellations. If Accomack County schools are closed, or open two hours late, weekday Mass will be cancelled. An announcement will be made specifically for weather-related weekend Mass cancellations.
