Flowers on the altar this weekend are donated In Memory of the Deceased Members of the Knights of Columbus. The Adult Faith Ministry will meet Tuesday, April 26th at 6:30 PM. Bible Study continues Wednesday, April 27th at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM. AFM Book Discussion is Thursday, April 28th at 6:30 PM. The FIGS Group will meet Friday, April 29th at 6:30 PM. The first class to receive the sacrament of First Communion, will celebrate at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 AM. National Day of Prayer: There will be a celebration of the National Day of Prayer on May 5th at the Club Car Café in Parksley at 5:30 PM. Let us join together in Prayer for our Nation at this very uncertain time. See Trish, Jennifer & Brian Langley, or Ann Page for further information. Congratulations to the Ladies auxiliary on their Spaghetti Dinner and Live Auction. It was a huge success and resulted in a fantastic amount of money for their Scholarship Fund.

The Knights of Columbus are offering the Paul Braunstein Scholarship/Grant monies for the youth of St. Peter’s who are planning to attend college in the fall. If your parents are registered here at St. Peters, and you have an interest in applying, the applications are available in the church office. Applications must be submitted to the church office by May 22, 2016. The Msgr. Mickle Council of the Knights of Columbus, Cape Charles will present a Scholarship Award of $ 500.00 for college to a deserving high school senior. Applicants must be residents of the Eastern Shore and confirmed members of St. Charles, St. Peters or St. Andrews Catholic Churches. Contact Bob Leffel at 757-414-0418 for an application. Applications are due April 30, 2016. “Living Our Mission” prayer cards have been placed in all pews, both English and Spanish. This prayer will be recited at the close of all Masses. Please do not remove cards from pews.
