The COP21 Paris climate goals can be only achieved if private capital

(such as funds of investors and credit facilities of banks) can be convinced

to invest in renewable energies on a global basis as we are facing a lack

of capital of appr. 1,3 Trillion EUR till 2030.

Closing this gap will be only possible if we are minimizing investment risks,

ARISTOTELES aggregates technical, meteorological and financial data, which will be used to perform Smart Data

Analytics and Predictive Data Simulation analysing the assets of our clients – no geographic limitations

BIG DATA MINING

IoT connectivity: Aristoteles is

aggregating the data from each asset on a

global basis without using any edge device

on site. The connectors to the wind farms

and solar parks are developed by

Kaiserwetter and hosted in the

environment of the SAP Cloud Platform.

This is a first time approach - thanks to

SAP.

The SAP IoT Application Enablement

services are used to store the data on a

daily basis in the data storage split in a

cold storage (AWZ), warm storage (AWZ)

and hot storage (SAP HANA)

The SAP Leonardo IoT capabilities are

showing the great potentials of integrating

more assets by using the ideas of SAP

Leonardo connected Infrastructure.

SMART DATA ANALYTICS

To perform Smart Data Analytics we are

using SAP Leonardo Analytics

capabilities running on SAP HANA getting

the data from the hot storage.

This data is analyzed by using Business

Objects Cloud and data stored in SAP

HANA. The generated KPI´s are displayed

in dashboards built on SAPUI5.

SAP HANA allows us to get a 100%

scalability of our business model.

Furthermore we could use our SAP S/4

HANA cloud edition running on the SAP

HANA Enterprise Cloud to perform

accounting for potential clients investing in

different countries. This service is subject

to final negotiations on the licence model.

PREDICTIVE DATA SIMULATION

For our Predictive Data Simulation we are

going to use SAP Leonardo Predictive

Services combining data stored in the cold

and warm storage.

Aristoteles 2.0 carrying predictive

analytics features for wind turbines is

planned to be released by end of June

2018.

offshore wind farm. It is therefore a very powerful platform centralizing energy data. This provides countries - especially in emerging markets - with the

ability to manage the energy demand and supply.

▪ Beside helping to stop global warming by catalysing investments in renewable energies, ARISTOTELES is gathering meteorological data from wind

farms globally on a micro level, which can be used to enrich the climate models demonstrating the impacts of climate change.

▪ Furthermore the meteorological data such as on-site wind speed and irritation could be used to support the roll-out of agriculture programs

especially inAfrican or Asian countries.
