From solid foundations we have grown to become a major supplier in the Italian market with a constantly increasing presence throughout the country, now with over 10,000 m² of warehousing.
Our wide range of available products, three locations, large warehouses, extensive sales network, a constantly evolving website a technically qualified customer service team advising on the most suitable product for each application, are the reasons why customers constantly rely on ATAG.
In recent years we have applied our experience and professionalism to those of complementary businesses, absorbing and integrating them into the ATAG group, improving our skills by taking cues from the strengths of each one.

The new office in Glasgow, Scotland, used to assist the Milan Export Office in research and development projects for foreign customers, allows us to increase our presence in Europe.

We offer the widest range of anti-vibration dampers: in terms of characteristics, sizes, types, hardness and rubber compounds, with integral metal parts also in stainless steel.
More than one million examples are available from our stores.
Special and standard dampers can be supplied in small quantities for prototype machinery up to the production of tens of thousands of pieces per day.
For over 60 years ATAG have been the Italian distributor of CONTINENTAL anti-vibration dampers for the customer who does not want to give up the quality of a great worldwide brand, with whom we collaborated to develop together innovative viscoelastic dampers.
The great variety of our products allows us to isolate vibrations produced by a wide range of sources, from tiny electronic equipment to very large marine engines.
We have considerable experience in the use of “feet” for machine tools, shears, presses, or large hammers, in accordance with the different needs of the Industrial, Food, Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors.
We also supply PG supports that are particularly suited for use in the foundation plinths for machines with a very high impact mass.
Our decades of experience in the world of rubber greatly helps with the design and production of rubber rollers for the sectors of graphic design and printing, as well as the wood, glass, packaging and textile industries.
In-house control of all phases of roller production; formulation of the rubber compounds, core construction, surface profile design and finishing, allows us to carefully control the process, yielding high quality with significant customisation options for customers backed up by quick delivery times and competitive prices.
We offer also a re-covering service for the regeneration of used rollers.

Product range
ATAG offers every type of rubber compound found on the market today. Always available in our stores, in the most widely used thicknesses, we supply both compact and foam versions. From natural rubber, to the vast family of synthetic rubbers made from Neoprene, NBR, Hypalon, Viton, natural or red Silicone, EPDM, SBR, etc.
Depending on the needs of the customer and the application, we offer a dual quality range: high and medium-high.
For use in critical areas we create specific compounds, such as anti-abrasive sheets with high mechanical strength, or for immersion in unleaded gasoline.
Silicone sheets specifically designed to solve the problem of foreign bodies in food production and pharmaceutical industries. The colour blue, also metal detectable and always FDA certified.
We are authorized distributors of Vulkollan sheets, rods and sleeves made from original Bayer blends and supply high quality semi-finished polyurethane at competitive prices.
We also have a considerable variety of rubberized fabrics made from Neoprene, CSM, Silicone, starting from a minimum thickness (0.2 mm), for use as membranes; flame retardant coated fabrics for welding booths; fabrics for medical use, autoclave sterilisable, for the veterinary field, etc.
We have in our stores rubber and PVC flooring for offices and public buildings, non-slip mats as well as coloured, shaped and perforated flooring specifically for workshops that use heavy machinery.

In plants where there is rigid pipework compensation joints are crucial for expansion and vibration. ATAG has a wide range of joints from Dia. ¾” upword.
Depending on the application, regarding the rubber joints, our technical department advises the customer on choosing the most suitable compound (EPDM, Nitrile, Hypalon, Neoprene, etc.).
In some cases expansion joints with integral layers of thin steel sheets, couplings or special shapes are recommended.
They can be supplied to meet the needs of axial, angular, spherical angular or universal compensation and can also be used as dismantling joints.
For applications where fluids are particularly aggressive the best solution, however, is PTFE.
All joints are fitted with flanges, drilled to either UNI, ASA or individual specifications, or fitted with welded or threaded sleeves. Range limiters are also available when required for joints equipped with spherical seats.
For air conditioning and industrial buildings, where air or corrosive vapours are conveyed at high or low temperatures, we supply various types of textile joints, constructed from many different types of elastomer or polymer coated fabrics.

We supply a countless variety of semi-finished products made of plastic, in different shapes and sizes, specifically for the study and development of new applications in advanced technology sectors.
We have: semi- rigid PVC for industry, flexible, coloured and transparent PVC for doors and barriers, high and low density polyethylene, extruded and cast nylon 6, extruded nylon 6.6, Acetal Resin, Polyester, PET, compact and alveolar Polycarbonate, PMMA, PEI, PSU, PVDF, PTFE, PEEK, Torlon, where possible with additives and / or reinforcements, Canvas Bakelite, Graphite, Arnite, Polystyrene and PVC foam.

We can also provide Food and Pharmaceutical industries with all those plastics specifically designed to facilitate contaminant detection during processing both visually and / or by means of metal detectors: acetal resin, nylon and blue coloured PPS.

For over 70 years our ISO 9002 production centre has moulded and extruded a variety of rubber compounds (NBR , HNBR , NBR - PVC , SBR, NR para , CR, EPM , EPDM, CSM Hypalon, PU (Urepan), FKM (Viton), polyacrylic ACM and VMQ silicone).
Thanks to the remarkable versatility of our facilities we are able to mould small quantities to very large series production, from minute dimensions up to 1000 x1000 mm.
The flexibility of being able to produce with continuous curing immediately after extrusion, or via an autoclave, puts us in a position to meet any kind of need - from tiny profiles to large moulded parts.
We are able to produce complex combination moulded items in rubber bonded to PTFE or various metals such as iron, stainless steel or aluminum.
Our range of extrusions expanded with the introduction of intumescent seals, indispensable products in the manufacture of secure doors and fire dampers to REI standards for the civil, industrial and marine industries.
A large number of moulded and extruded rubber products are always available ex-stock.
Items are supplied to the food and pharmaceutical industries, with the use of silicone rubber, FDA metal detectable materials, as well as extruded shaped profiles or gaskets that are moulded or cut to size.

ATAG has a wide and complete range of flexible hoses. Each type of problem, whether it be in air handling, fumes and gas extraction, in the conveyance of aggressive or dangerous liquids, can be solved by us with the most appropriate product.
We have hoses for the most disparate applications: foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, petroleum, chemicals, gases, and the most aggressive acids and solvents.
The hoses are manufactured with special rubber compounds: natural, oil-resistant, Neoprene, Viton, Silicone, Ethylpropylene, combined with textile or metal reinforcement depending on the conditions of use.
Also polimer materials, used in hoses in place of rubber or as a substrate, such as polyamides, PTFE, PVC, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polyurethane (polyether and polyester), may be appropriate solutions, that are often lower cost for specific requirements.
We have composite materials that are suitable, by exploiting their special characteristics, for the manufacture of air ductings that convey or extract of air, gases and fumes at high and low temperatures (from -60 ° C to +1100 ° C ).
We equip customers with high quality electrically heated hoses, fundamental for specific applications in the dairy, confectionery and chemical industries. We also help our animal friends to keep in shape: with dog agility tubes so they can be exercised in special facilities that use our equipment.

FLEXIBLE HOSES
Since 2001, ATAG has been the exclusive Italian distributor of special Piercan gloves. In the pharmaceutical and food industries careful control of non-contamination of products during processing is increasingly required, from which, in recent years a growing demand for “gloveboxes” has arisen. This is the optimal application, though not the only one, for Piercan products.
The gloves are also widely used in hospitals as well as in the nuclear and chemical industries, whenever you need to manipulate corrosive or harmful substances, or to avoid contamination of the same by external agents.
The gloves are constructed from suitable compounds and / or materials that can resist various stresses.
Some gloves have also been developed based on specific customer requirements so as to provide the optimal solution both economically and in terms of safety.
Piercan products, ISO 9001 and ISO14001 certified, are designed in accordance with the main European regulations regarding Personal Protective Equipment such as: EN420, EN374 (Regulations concerning protection against chemicals), EN388 (Regulations concerning protection against mechanical risks). Each item is carefully checked individually: the severity of these controls guarantee complete peace of mind for the safety of the user.

For many years ATAG has supplied a range of tubings for the pharmaceutical and medical industries. Sterilizable and reusable products that must guarantee biocompatibility and the total absence of any contaminants.
ATAG Biopharma Tubings are the result of decades of testing and experience, products of the highest level companies that were among the first able to obtain ISO 13485 and ISO 14644 certification.
Production takes place in clean rooms of class in 7 or 8. For all the production lines a system of compound traceability exists, thereby certifying all products according to the standards of the Biomedical and Pharmaceutical sectors.
With the same characteristics we have tubing for distribution lines, easily identifiable thanks to their coloured external stripes. They comply with ISO 14971, DM 21.3.73 and with the FDA, BfR, EP 3.1.9, USP Class VI and the relevant sections of ISO 10993.
BIO-PHARMA MEDICAL TUBING
ATAG supplies an advanced solution for the transport of materials in fluid, semi-fluid or gaseous states, which require the maintenance of a constant temperature.
These electrically heated hoses are used in virtually every industry, from foodstuffs to chemicals, from automotive to pharmaceutical, wherever there is the need for high quality hoses and an accurate control of constant temperature for the transport of liquids and gases.
Operating temperatures from 30°C to 260°C, special versions up to 350°C. The possibility to have different diameters of the inner tube allow different flow rates to be achieved.
The wide range of fittings and electrical connectors, are able to meet all technical and production requirements. Fittings are available in brass, iron and stainless steel with BSP, metric, JIC & ASA threads with others available upon request. A PTFE coating can be applied to the fittings or the flanges to improve the chemical resistance and obtain perfect inertia.
The multitude of possible combinations can be used in any situation: for high working pressures, for EEX hazardous areas, with water-repellent outer sheaths or braided steel, with built-in temperature control and self-regulating ATEX rated heating elements, with additional integrated tubing for compressed air etc.

Acoustic insulation is increasingly demanded because it is becoming more and more necessary as we live in a world full of noise. Any mechanism in motion generates noise and in many cases one tries to mitigate the component which tends to generate the most noise or causes it to spread more widely.
Any equipment that produces noise can cause serious hearing damage, create discomfort and limit a person’s concentration.
We offer many specially designed materials to prevent the propagation of noise (sound impedant) and/or which absorb reverberation (sound absorbing) in the ambient environment.
By varying the density, thickness and shape and by matching the different characteristics of the components, we have developed several solutions that break down each frequency that causes disturbance.
The thermal insulation of today is based on asbestos substitutes, with equal or superior insulation characteristics but without the serious side effects that caused its prohibition of use.
We offer sheets and rolls of insulation rolls that have been developed as a function of their specific needs: glass fibre, PV + PTFE, as well as ceramic fibres that can be used with temperatures of up to 1600 ° C.

A vast assortment of belts of various sections and designs, also oil resistant and antistatic, each capable of transmitting maximum power, are normally available ex-stock.
ATAG has always supplied toroidal section belts of various diameters, closed loop and elastic, usable without having to disassemble the pulleys and able to absorb shocks and to work in misalignment.
There are always available transmission couplings for rotating shafts and, according to the torque to be transmitted, we can recommend the most suitable in relation to the workload. We provide belts for variable speed drives, planar closed, in polyurethane, joinable or heat sealable, in glass fibre and PTFE etc.
As of 2013, more and more environmentally conscious and in line with companies that make “GREEN” one of the cornerstones of their corporate policy, we have ContiTech products which bear the label “Blue Concept “, such as the Conti -VR Pioneer belts.

In the fields of screen printing, painting, flexographic printing, in all sectors of converting, for the production of adhesive tapes and lamination, there is a process called Corona Treatment. Even printed packaging derives enormous benefits from this process.
ATAG offers special compound sleeves with high tear and dielectric strength and excellent resistance to ozone. Thanks to vertical extrusion technology these have a perfectly smooth surface, a regular section and a constant wall thickness with tight tolerances for both the diameter and thickness.
In addition, our sleeves meet the need for high concentricity in respect of their shape, ensuring a smooth and stable operation of the Corona treatment.
CORONA TREATMENT
Since 2013 ATAG has introduced important innovations in the field of technology for the production of carbon fibre.
In the areas of Robotics and Aerospace Engineering, where high-tech products are required to comply with strict standards and the most scrupulous accuracy; in automotive and Nautical sectors, especially sports, where the problem of component weight is synonymous with best performance and fuel economy, custom carbon fibre products are increasingly necessary.
Even the new areas of alternative energy, such as wind power, benefit from the use of composite materials and epoxy resins for the production of increasingly lightweight and efficient blades.
ATAG is the exclusive supplier for Italy, and in partnership for Europe, for a special type of Bladder that enables the construction of extremely complex carbon fibre items with flawless finishes and that also allows mass production at the lowest possible cost and the highest productivity.
