Seminar Synopsis

Target Audience

Singapore Rope Access Association (SRAA) aims to instill good safety and health practices in the industrial rope access industry. SS588, the first Singapore Standard catered to rope access industry was launched in 2013. This seminar aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge of SS588:2013. Besides that, participant would be able to learn how to manage an rope access operation professionally.

This will be an excellent platform for all industrial rope access practitioners / organisations / individuals to meet up and exchange their thoughts. In addition, this is timely for all of us to update the new WSH (Work-At-Height) Regulations 2013. Live demonstrations will be one of the key highlight of the conference where rope access rescue technique and medical management will be vividly illustrated.

Another key highlight will be the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Australia Rope Access Association (ARAA), Korea Rope Access Association (KRAA) and Representative from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Indonesia. With signing the MOU, the people of Singapore and that of Australia, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Indonesia have made one crucial step to strengthen the bonding between country and country. In addition, SRAA will also signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Environmental Management Association of Singapore (EMAS) for advancing and promoting the Workplace Safety & Health.
