Light Duty Slurry Seals

Series 85

Designed as an off-the-shelf, simple to install, cartridge sealoffering numerous product features including a floating stationaryassembly to minimize face distortion in overtightened glandconditions and springs that are isolatedfrom the pumpage for non cloggingoperation.

Type of SealSingle, Pusher

Standard Sizes1.000" to 7.000"25mm to 173mm

Type of SealSingle, Pusher

Standard Sizes1.000" to 4.000"25mm to 100mm

Preset cartridge design speeds installation and helps to eliminateinstallation error. Springs mounted on the stationary portion aremore tolerant to seal misalignment and faceeccentricity compared to rotatingsprings. Off the shelf availabilityto fit standard ANSI pump sizes.

SLM-6000

Type of SealSingle, Pusher

Standard Sizes1.250" to 8.500"28.6mm to 215.9mm

A single cartridge seal in a flexible stator design with ruggedprimary seal faces of sintered silicon carbide in a monoblockconfiguration. Available with a Quench Containment Device (QCD)as an outboard seal that can be run with a low pressure waterclosed loop barrier system or as a single seal withthe Synthetic Lubrication Device (SLD)that requires no other equipment. Type of Seal

Tandem, Pusher

Standard Sizes1.250" to 8.500"28.6mm to 215.9mm

A cartridge seal of the same rugged design as the SLM-6000with the exception that the Quench Containment Device (QCD) isreplaced with a multiple spring mechanical seal. The tandem sealmust be supported by a barrier fluid of lower pressure than theprocess fluid.

SLM-6200

Ideal dual slurry seal to isolate the seal faces from the pump operating environment.A true cartridge dual seal that can be operated in a “pressure over” mode wherethe pressure of the fluid (water) is at a greater pressure than the pump. Simplyconnect the packing water line to the supply tank to create the pressure overeffect. Product is not diluted as water is force circulated around the closedloop system between the seals and supply tank.

Uniseal

Bellows seal technology and cartridge simplicity combined in a shelfstocked seal that installs in 15 minutes and fits virtually all ANSIstandard and big bore pumps. This seal includes a self cleaningbellows made of corrosion resistantAlloy C-276 and is factory tested toensure superior performance.

Type of SealSingle, Bellows

Standard Sizes1.125" to 2.500"28mm to 63mm

X-100

Type of SealSingle, Bellows

Standard Sizes1.125" to 4.125"28mm to 70mm

This metal bellows design helps to eliminate shaft packing hang-upand shaft or sleeve fretting. Very good in abrasive services andincorporates a patented face attachment technology to increaseseal life. Preset cartridge simplifiesinstallation. Fits ANSI standardand big bore pumps.

RIS

A unique nonclogging component seal design for Flue GasDesulphurization (FGD) applications with no springs or bellows anddoes not require a flush. Seal is installed from the wet end of thepump in components, an added advantage when dealing with largeshaft sizes. The stationary seal face is attached to a rubber-in-shearelement which absorbs relative shaft movement.

Standard Sizes1.750" to 9.250"45mm to 230mm

ALLPAC

Type of SealSingle/Dual, Pusher

Standard Sizes1.000" to 11.800"25mm to 300mm

A cartridge slurry seal in a flexible stator design with rugged primaryseal faces with springs isolated from the process fluid. By virtue ofthese design features, it enjoys a large installed base in Flue GasDesulphurization (FGD) scrubber pumps. This seal is also availablewith integral bearings and is applied in FGDagitator/mixer applications.

Type of SealSingle, Flexible Rubber Element

SLC

Designed to operate without a flush to increase plant efficiency, reduce operating costs and eliminate product dilution.Incorporates a unique non-clogging cone spring design thatincreases seal reliability. A self contained single cartridge slurryseal designed to operate in tough slurry.

Type of SealSingle, Pusher

Standard Sizes1.250" to 7.125"35mm to 181mm
