Over the long weekend in March, our softballers were challenged to a game by the

Morley Eagles at their home grounds. The fierce competition between the two

friendly teams was highlighted by

home runs and double plays. The

morning concluded with a sausage

sizzle and social function. A massive

thanks to Barb and Craig Turner for

their efforts in organising the day,

and a huge thanks to the Morley

Eagles for their hospitality.

TENPIN BOWLING Our Tenpin Bowlers were also kept

busy over the long weekend

competing at the annual WADSA

Tenpin Bowling Championships at

Superbowl Warwick. SOWA were well

represented at the competition in

singles and doubles. Some of the

highlights from Saturday

include; Louise Godfrey - 1st place

handicap series: Tracy Storey - 3rd place handicap series:

Kelly Zimbulis - highest scratch series:

Matthew Pegdon - highest handicap

game; Jordan Hunter - highest scratch

series.

On Sunday, SOWA shone through

again with the Teams competition –
