Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the International Organizing Committee, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to be part of the 7th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles being held in Barcelona, Spain, from 3-6 May 2018 with a pre-educational day on 2nd of May. It is our honor to organize this meeting where scientists from around the globe share the latest information on extracellular vesicles.

Extracellular vesicles represent a new paradigm both in cell biology and medicine. They are considered to offerunprecedented opportunities for future applications from new generation diagnostic or prognostic biomarkers totherapeutic applications. The International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV) was founded in 2011, and as the authoritative international community for extracellular vesicle research, it focuses on all aspects of extracellular vesicle investigations. Over the past few years, ISEV meetings have received an increasing number of abstracts due to the outstanding quality of these events. In 2017, ISEV welcomed close to 1000 delegates to its annual meeting.

It will be a unique occasion to interact with experts and top-researchers, to exchange new ideas, and also, to contribute in the development of this growing and passionate field with opportunities to impact in different socio-economical areas including food industry, environment and, importantly, clinics. In collaboration with the internationalorganizing committee, we are organizing an effective and dynamic program that will include educational sessions for beginners, along with the latest advances of the field touching, both, fundamental and clinical aspects. Ample opportunities to engage speakers and colleagues in both large and small settings will be offered. Our speakers will present the latest research and advances, and delegates will have also the opportunity to interact closely with companies leading the development of new tools for studying extracellular vesicles.

By providing an insight into the most recent unpublished data of extracellular vesicle research, ISEV meetings create a unique competitive advantage for our academic and commercial partner attendees. In the FIRA Monjuic exhibition center, our exhibition floor will be interspersed with poster boards and refreshments during lunches and coffee breaks to provide optimal opportunity for personal and scientific interactions.

Objective of the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles (ISEV)To globally expand the field of vesicle research by promoting basic, translational and clinical research within the field of extracellular vesicles, including microvesicles and exosomes; collecting, assessing and disseminating scientific information on extracellular vesicles; being a scientific reference body for other scientific, health and political organizations; and encouraging and providing training and continuous education within the field of extracellular vesicles.

PRIORITY POINT SYSTEM

ISEV is pleased to provide a new Priority Points System that allows Sponsors and Exhibitors to achieve points based on their involvement with ISEV. Points are earned by being a sponsor or exhibitor and are used to determine your exhibit booth location. Points accrue yearly. One point will be lost per year of non-participation.

How to earn points:

• Platinum Sponsorship = 5 points

• Gold Sponsorship = 4 points

• Silver Sponsorship = 3 points

• Bronze Sponsorship = 2 point

• Exhibition (for each 10x10 booth) = 1 point

• Other Sponsorship/Marketing Opportunities = 1 point

Booth allocation will be based on priority points during early bird registration. After the early bird deadline (February 15th, 2018), booths will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.
