KING OF THE NIGHT: RHP Michael King struck out 11 batters on Thursday for a new career-high. The 22-year-old got into a groove after allowing an infield hit in the 2nd and retired 15-consecutive batters before exiting in the 7th. King's prior career-best in strikeouts was accomplished on April 10, 2017, when he punched out 9 Delmarva Shorebirds in 5.0IP as a member of the Greensboro Grasshoppers. LOAISIGA PROMOTED: RHP Jonathan Loaisiga was promoted to Double-A Trenton on Thursday.
