Term 3 Week 10 Wednesday 23rd September 2020
Term 4 The first day of term 4 is Monday 12th October, please remember that there is no staff development day in term 4 so everybody is to return on the Monday. Parent/Student/Teacher Conversations You will receive a conversation about learning goals sheet and attached note today. We have sent these home in preparation for our week 2 meetings. We will send another copy home in week 1. Celebration Week All of the students had a wonderful time celebrating all of their hard work over the term. Each and every one of our students should be incredibly proud of all of the hard work they have put into their learning.
Monday—hat day
Tuesday—dress up day
Wednesday—PJ day
Thursday—make your own sundae day
Friday—athletics carnival and colour day
All the staff hope you have an enjoyable and restful break over the holidays. See you in Term 4!

Assembly Awards - Term 3 Week 10 Infants: Angus for improved behaviour in the class-room. Primary: Jaxon for developing his skills in reading comprehension. Maitilda for working hard all term to achieve her goals. Super Star Award – Captain Disposition: Angus for being patient and persistent. Library: Cooper and Jaxon 100% Attendance: Jaxon. Excellent Attendance: Cooper and Maitilda. Core Value Award - Caring for Others: Matthew. Well done to all of our Term 3 award winners, keep do-ing your very best in all you do! Great job everyone.
Premiers Reading Challenge Congratulations to Patrick, Cooper, Matthew and An-gus for completing their Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2020. ‘A child that reads will be an adult that thinks’
Book Week 2020 Book Week was moved from term 3 to term 4 this year due to the Covid restrictions. It will now be held in week 2 of term 4, (Oct 19th to 23rd). Our Book Week event will take place on Wednesday 21st October. This years theme is;
‘Curious Creatures - Wild Minds’ So please start thinking of ideas for your costumes, you can create a costume within this years theme or come as your favourite book character of all time????? Maybe by that time Covid restrictions will have eased, and parents/families may possibly be able to attend. If not we will still hold our event as an in school activity with students and staff. Time to get creative!!!!!!
Last Week of Term 3 We have enjoyed the last week of term 3 immensely. After such a long term and the constrictions of Covid we decided to make every day fun in a different way. We thought a different dress up day for each day of the week would be fun. We thank all families for join-ing into the spirit of the week. Students have enjoyed free time, a movie, popcorn and poppers, make your own sundae, Lego time and a sports carnival also! Students participated in 50mtr, 100mtr running races, shot put and long jump with an egg and spoon race for fun. The children had a lovely morning with beautiful weather, they showed sports-manship, won some ribbons and laughed a lot. Thank you Mrs Beard for the organisation.
