We will all be blessed this evening with a special worship
assembly led by the young men in our youth group and a
performance, following that assembly, by our talented youth

several area congregations in Middle Tennessee. They have
just returned from their annual Spring Chorus trip to
Washington DC. They are wrapping up their 2017-2018 tour
with us here at Walnut Street this evening. Please plan to be
present and bring finger foods for the add-a-dish fellowship
meal to follow. The schedule for this evening’s activities are
as follows:

Men from Youth Group
7:00 PM - Youth Chorus to Sing Following

To My Walnut Street Family and friends,
Words can’t explain how much your support meant to our family during the months that Eddie Burch battled cancer. The prayers, visits, phone calls, cards and the meal prepared for us showed your kindness and love. This church family continues to make us proud to be part of such caring people.
God bless you all.

6:00 PM—Worship (Classes 3rd grade and down will meet as scheduled.)
Tonight’s worship assembly will be led by the young men in our youth group. This year, Alan Ragan and Bob Spencer have
taken our youth to the following congregations on Sunday evenings, where our young men have conducted the worship assemblies:
New Spring Creek Church of Christ
Vanleer Church of Christ Midway Church of Christ
Water Street Church of Christ Waverly Church of Christ
Walnut Street Church of Christ
During these assemblies, 13 of our young men have preached the gospel and 8 have led singing. We are always happy to share our
youth with other area congregations, but we look forward with great anticipation each year to the time when they “come home” and lead
the assembly at Walnut Street.
7:00 PM—Youth Chorus Presentation Our youth chorus, under the direction of Bob Spencer, consists
of young people ranging from the 6th-12th grades. This is the 31st
consecutive year of the Youth Chorus at Walnut Street!
7:30 PM—Finger food add-a-dish fellowship We will conclude the day with a special time of
fellowship as we share a finger-food meal together.
Please bring food for your family and several of our guests!
