A total of $5.8 billion of investment in under various stages of delivery, planning, or with potential to be delivered as part of plans for Westmead over the next decade.

One of the major investments is Parramatta Light rail.

Parramatta Light rail is one of the nsW Government’s latest major infrastructure projects being delivered to serve a growing sydney. stage 1 will connect Westmead to Parramatta and Carlingford via Camellia with a two-way track spanning 12 kilometres. this will be the first stage of the Parramatta Light rail project and is expected to open in 2023.
