• Good level of football provision but need to address demand for 9v9

• Council wants to offer wide range of sports for adults & children to increase participation and to improve opportunities for disability participants

• Facilitate access to local schools

• Deliver programme that promotes community interaction, health & well-being

• Proposal for inclusive play facilities

• Government failure to deliver Olympic legacy and inspire next generation of young people to get involved
