REPORT ON THE GILROYS RECENT QUEENSLAND VISIT.by Rex Gilroy.

Copyright Rex Gilroy 2008.n Thursday 25th September Heather and I drove up to Brisbane where, on the Friday night I gave aPowerPoint presentation on Australian Underground UFO Bases at the monthly meeting of UFO

Research Queensland, which was very well received. Our visit was a very happy one, and we made new

contacts. We stayed with our friends Sheryl and Martin Gottschall, who are the chairperson and Sightingsgatherer respectively of this big, happy Club.

    O

Our trip was only to be a short one, involving day visits to Gympie, Murgon and Maryborough, for the purpose of taking more photos of these places for a future UFO book concerning the mysteriousAlien Mudhead [endocast] recovered by me outside Maryborough near a UFO crash site that occurredin 1980. Since my big find [reported in the Gilroys two UFO books Australian UFOs Through the

Window of Time and Blue Mountains Triangle Secret Australian-American Underground Bases andthe ET Connection] much new information has been forthcoming, including information on anunderground base located in the Gympie/Murgon/Maryborough region. We obtained many UFO reports

which will appear in this newsletter later, particularly concerning Queensland underground bases, and thesecret involvement of more American troops, scientific personnel etc and a lot of other important

information useful to our other forthcoming UFO books. On our return trip we stayed overnight in Grafton, where we met Barry Taylor again [recently

married]!! Barry spoke of Boomerang-shaped UFOs seen by him over the town, and of the great numbersof craft he has seen at night, even filmed in the Grafton area.

There seems but one explanation for the great mass of sightings throughout this district, and thatis that an underground space travel technology base constructed by the American and Australian militaryexists somewhere in the region, probably with spacecraft entrances hidden deep in the mountains west ofthe coast, with tunnel systems extending eastwards beneath Grafton. We drove home hoping to returnbefore very long for an investigation in the Grafton district.

    THE GILROY-KAMARUDIN BURRAGORANGVALLEYUNDERGROUND BASE INVESTIGATION.

by Rex Gilroy.Copyright Rex Gilroy 2008.

n Wednesday 15th October 2008 together with fellow Blue Mountains UFO Research Club member,Arwyn Kamarudin, I made another hike out to the far end of Narrow Neck Plateau to observe the

activities going on out in the centre of Burragorang Valley, at the underground Australian-American top

secret advanced space travel technology research complex.

    O

We left from Arwyns car at the Water Board gate for the long walk out [about 3 hours] at 2.15pmand had a good look at Megalong Valley during the walk. The valley has been the scene of a number ofreports of UFOs lately and will be the subject of future Skywatches.

The weather had not been favourable but according to TV weather reports was supposed to clearup in the afternoon, which it at first looked like doing. However, the weather began turning dull and mistyby the time we reached the far end at 5.59pm.

Thankfully it did not rain during our investigation. As the moon was to be full that night we hadexpected the valley would be lit up with its usual blue and dark colour tones and that any objects seenthere would be clearly visible.

The base saucer flight centre surface openings are located on the south side of an extensive high

ridge which extends eastwards from the western side of the Burragorang Valley to its centre, and it wastowards the eastern end of the ridge and at a point half way up its north side that at 7.06pm I spotted abright silvery flash which Arwyn failed to see in time.

Scanning the valley with our binoculars for any other signs of activity out there was becoming acold exercise. We were both rugged up enough, although I had only worn a thick long sleeved shirt andmy parka and was hoping it would not get to much colder, and we both hoped we wouldnt get caught inthe rain, which happily did not occur.

Then, at 7.40pm as I looked north of the backwaters of Lake Burragorang [Warragamba Dam]and below the summit of the Kings Tableland cliffs, I spotted with my binoculars a long, greyish streakmomentarily zooming north to south and clearly outlined against the cliffs. I immediately alerted Arwynbut she missed seeing it. Whatever it was is a mystery. Perhaps some small experimental object from the

base guided by remote control, and which have been seen by other people in the Burragorang Valley fromtime to time.We were now contemplating abandoning the valley watch due to encroaching cloud and mist

when as we were packing up our food and belongings, Arwyn spotted a great glow which had suddenlyappeared to the south-western side of the valley. [I would afterwards recall that this glow has beenreported to me by people in the past]. The glow was emanating from a region of gullies virtuallyimpossible for bushwalkers to reach and there is no doubt that it is coming from the mighty undergroundcomplex. If it were coming from opening underground saucer nests it would have been an ideal situationfor flights as leaving or departing craft could not be seen beyond the valley in all that cloud and mist. Theglow has occurred on clear nights and objects have been seen moving in and out of that area by people forsome years now.

The long walk back to the Water Board gate and Arwyns car began. I used my torch with Arwynconserving hers in case mine gave out, although it lasted the whole hike. At times the road could be seenin the dim moonglow through the mist, and wherever the road passed through gum forests we had ratherlovely, though eerie scenes of dark trees and mist in the dim glow. Unfortunately we did not see even one

Yowie or pygmy for which the area is also known! We reached the car at 10.58pm, tired and glad to get home. However, I hope to do the

investigation again, but in better and warmer weather conditions, perhaps on the November full moon.Although we did not see any numbers of strange lights or craft, my two sightings and the great

glow made the trek out there worthwhile, thus adding further sightings to the already massive amount ofphenomena recorded from the Burragorang Valley.

Arwyn and I were already planning our next venture on the walk back to the car.

Our club is already known for its achievements in Skywatches on the Blue Mountains. With thecurrent UFO flap now under way across the Blue Mountains we can expect more reports.Over recent months the Gilroy Skywatchers have been joined by William Johnson, Ann Taylor,

Kim and Aimee Tracton, Johnny Burrows, Armides Morales, Angelo Soccio and of course the late PamBoyne who put so much into these activities. She is sadly missed by all.

The amount of sightings reports gathered form all these efforts, together with the BurragorangValley investigations thus continue to bear fruit. Every scrap of evidence and information is important, and that is why even though Arwyn and I returned with just those two sightings of mine and the greatglow, our investigation was justified and a success. I eagerly await the next visit to the end of NarrowNeck Plateau anyone else interested??

THE PAM BOYNE MEMORIAL SKYWATCH.Following the meeting on 20th September, a large group of our members [new and old] braved the weather

conditions to proceed to the Knoll on Narrow Neck Plateau for a Skywatch in memory of Pam and herenthusiasm for this particular spot where we frequently conducted Skywatches in the past. Although no sightings

were made a good time was had by all.

LATEST UFOREPORTS FROM THE BLUE MOUNTAINS.by Rex Gilroy.

Copyright Rex Gilroy 2008.There can be no doubt, another major UFO flap has begun across the Blue Mountains. A shining saucer-type craft has been reported seen hovering over Bell on October 1st, and strange lights have been seenflying in a triangular formation over Lithgow [September 6th].

On Tuesday September 9th two Bronze-coloured saucer-shaped craft were seen moving fast high

over Springwood by a Mr and Mrs John and Kay Walsham, as they drove into the grounds of SpringwoodGold club. They described the craft as shooting about cloud-level from south to north at immensespeed. The time of the sighting was 1.30pm.

About 11am on Friday September 12th, a Mr Craig MacNamara and Miss Julie Scott were drivingalong Bee Farm Road, Springwood when they spotted ahead of them, a strange silvery cone-shaped objectflying from the south-east. Getting out of the car they watched as the strange object [which rose to justbelow cloud level] hovered over Springwood township for about two minutes before resuming its flight to

vanish north-westwards at great speed. On Monday 17th September 2008 a large yellowish cylinder-shaped craft was spotted high in the

sky above cloud level over Linden. The author received several accounts of the same craft seen by peoplefrom Faulconbridge and Springwood. The time of these sightings was around 1-2pm.

On Tuesday 17th June a huge gray cone-shaped object appeared north of Woodford, high in thesky and was observed by a number of people, including Mrs Stella Wylie, who observed it with binoculars. It had oval-shaped windows around its centre, she said. The craft vanished into clouds.

On Monday 1st September two silvery saucer-shaped craft were sighted by Robert Townsend whilebushwalking south of Lawson township. The craft, he said, had domes top and bottom, with round

windows [as seen through his binoculars] widely spaced around the outside of the craft, which were about15 metres in diameter. They were flying fast under cloud level from the south, heading north, but suddenly turned north-west out of view over the trees.

On Thursday 24th July a blue-glowing saucer craft was seen at 10.15pm by several people as ithovered over gullies north of Hazelbrook. One eyewitness, Mr Carl Manning, was driving his truck andseeing the craft ahead in the distance stopped his vehicle, and then got out to get a better view of the

mysterious object. It was about a kilometre north of where I was and hovering. Five minutes later it began movingnorthwards over the horizon, he said.

High over Winmalee on Monday 2nd July about 9pm several yellow lights were seen to move in acluster over the bushland to the west of Hawkesbury Road by several people, who agreed that the lightmoved off suddenly breaking up the formation to zoom off in all directions. They looked like large balls oflight, said one witness, Mr Graem Kemp.

I am receiving phone calls from people across the Blue mountains all the time who have sightingsto pass on so it is certain that a major flap is under way and it has been building up for some months.
