If the applying group morally disagrees and does not mark the appropriate box on the application affirma- tively, the application process will not let those applying to proceed with the rest of the application. As a church it is important that we remind our Federal Government that this unfairly targets those who disagree with it on moral matters like abortion. A letter from Candice outlining the issue and suggestions for response is available on the signup table in the foyer. 5. Pick up your Annual Congregational Minutes on the pillars in the foyer. 6. 1. The Women of Worth (WOW) group will be studying Phil.4:6-7 with

Max Lucado beginning Oct. 15-Nov. 19. Max Lucado invites readers

into a study of Phil. 4:6-7 where the Apostle Paul admonishes the fol-

lowers of Christ, “Do not be anxious about anything…”. What’s he

suggesting? That we should literally be anxious for absolutely

nothing? Lucado says, “The presence of anxiety is unavoidable, but the

prison of anxiety is optional. It’s the life of perpetual anxiety that Paul

wants to address. Don’t let anything in life leave you perpetually in

angst.” With God's help you will learn to face the calamities of life.

You’ll learn how to talk yourself off the ledge. Under the guidance of

the Holy Spirit, you will learn to view bad news through the lens of

sovereignty; to discern the lies of Satan and tell yourself the truth. You

will manifest a gentleness that is evident to others. Anxiety comes

with life. But it doesn’t have to dominate your life.” To join the study,

please sign up before Mar. 5, with Marg Peters by calling 325-9051 or

by email at [email protected] if you would like to attend

and if you have not yet signed up. If you have any questions, please

contact Marg Peters-325-9051 or Susan Enns-325-9610.
