Penny Abbott Steps Off The Board: Many thanks to Penny Abbott for four years of dedicated service on the Board of Directors.

Drag Show: The Ladies of the Rainbow captivated us once again as they gave generously of their time and talent at the benefit Holiday Drag Show raising $6,200 for the AIDS Project.

Many thanks to photographer Julie Houle (Maple Leaf Photography) for capturing the spirit of the show.

Walk: On May 18th, at our 32nd Walk, more than 80 community members joined us as we remembered our friends and neighbors who died from HIV-related illnesses.

Lynn Martin was honored for her ongoing commitment to the AIDS Project.

Shirley Squires continues to raise the bar! She collected $21,000 in donations bringing her total to $370,480 and counting for the AIDS Project over the past twenty-seven years.

The very talented accapella group, The Harmony Lot provided inspiring music.

World AIDS Day:Due to a snowstorm, our commemoration was cancelled but a few brave souls still gathered.

Holiday Bags:Veronica Wheelock continued her annual tradition of brightening the holidays by creating individual gift bags for clients.

Our Direct Services Program continues to be successful in meeting the needs of people living with HIV in our community by ensuring access to state-of-the-art healthcare and life-saving medication. Our offices in Bennington and Brattleboro help clients with such staples as nutritious food, affordable housing, and access to compassionate support networks. In 2019, our Prevention Program provided more than 240 individuals with safer sex supplies, sterile syringes and safe disposal, health and treatment referrals, HIV and Hepatitis C testing, and case management services.

With an energized Board of Directors and staff we move into 2020 exploring new areas of HIV prevention in the community and remain committed to addressing the needs of individuals living with HIV.
