Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City.

In pursuance to the Notification dated: 18.07.2019 cited at (Ref-l) recruitment process to fill

up vacancies of Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men & Women) including In-Service was initiated.

After the recruitment process this Office published First Provisional Select Lists for the above post

vide cited at reference-2. After publishing the First Provisional Select Lists, candidates selected were

subjected for Medical Examination as prescribed in the Cadre and Recruitment Rules called the

Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2009. After

conducting the medical examination, based on the report of the Medical Board, Second Provisional

Select List was published on 29.08.2020(Ref-3). After publishing the Second Provisional Select List,

Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City was directed to verify the character and antecedents and also

reservations claimed by the candidates selected in the Provisional Select Lists. After due verification,

report has sent to this office by the Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City vide letters cited at (Ref-

4). As per the report, the character and antecedent and document verification have been completed

for 54 candidates. Hence, they are eligible for Final Select List. Thus as per C&R Rules, the Final

Select List of candidates pertaining to Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City unit for the post of

Sub-Inspector of Police (Civil) (Men & Women) including In-Service is prepared and it is as under.

1) The final appointment is subject to verification of Annual Performance Report and Departmental

Enquires if any pending against any of the In-service candidates and candidates from previous

Government Service.

Administrative Tribunal / Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka / Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
