Our special person this week is William Carnahan. William lives with his mom, dad, and three sisters, Hayden, Alex and Kate. He has a fish named Blue, and a frog named Simba. William’s favorite color is red, and he likes to eat steak. William’s favorite book is Lizards for Lunch, and he likes to watch “Ninja Go” on television. His favorite sport is soccer. When William grows up, he wants to be an architect. William says he is special because “I can build anything!”

MOO! BAA! OINK! NEIGH! Through literacy, we are learning about farm animals in preparation for our trip to Green Meadows Farm. We read about some very noisy animals in the book The Farm Concert and we learned a new song called “Take Me Out to the Barnyard.” In math, we continued to compare numbers that are one more than, one less than and the same as any given number. We are also practicing counting to 50 and counting backwards from 10. In science we used our five senses to help us learn about light, heat and sound energy. It has been a busy week!Our Cliffords are looking great! Please stop by and see what creative costumes the children have come up with. Thank you to the Workbox Wednesday moms for helping to build the sidewalk for Clifford. We truly appreciate their help!
