Brillianteen Expectations and Consequences Participating in Brillianteen can provide an enjoyable leadership experience and at the same time teach discipline, teamwork and respect for rules. Each teen that participates in Brillianteen represents not only themselves but the McGaw YMCA as well. In order to see that the behavior of Brillianteen participants reflects the values of the YMCA, McGaw has the authority to restrict or revoke participation as outlined below. These are expectations and consequences defined by teens and concerned adult advocates to ensure that Brillianteen is viewed as a quality leadership program by participants, school personnel and the community. In the event that a Brillianteen team member chooses to violate the expectations, the Brillianteen Program Manager will make recommendations to the COO about the impact of behavior and COO will respond to behavior. 1. Stay Legal: Brillianteen team members maintain legal behaviors at all times during the production schedule regarding substance use and other illegal activities. 2. Show Up: We expect all Brillianteen participants to demonstrate a high level of commitment to the program which includes, but not limited to, upholding an acceptable attendance record, meeting expectations of the job description, and completing assignment in a timely fashion. 3. Act Professionally: We expect all Brillianteen participants to maintain a high level of respect for other participants, time, equipment and property, maintaining integrity, keeping a positive environment, and show respect while onstage/offstage/backstage and participating at the best level they can. By signing the Brillianteen Behavior and Consequences form, I acknowledge that I fully understand the expectations I must live up to and fully accept the consequences if I fail to do so.
