60’s FELLOWSHIP: The 60’s fellowship will not meet in the month of December, but you are invited to meet with us on January 10th In the ROC. Bring Soup or Salad, cornbread or crackers. More details coming.

MUSTARD SEED HOLIDAY HOURS: Mustard Seed will be closed December 8th-January 4th.

WOMEN’S WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: will resume on January 6th.

CHRISTMAS CARD MAILBOX: A Christmas card mailbox is available in the ROC foyer. Rather than mailing your cards you can simply place your cards in the Christmas card mailbox. Please check for your cards each week.

DISHES IN THE KITCHEN: There are several dishes in the kitchen that have been left from previous gatherings. If you are missing a dish please check the kitchen. Thank you.

TITHES AND OFFERINGS: Donations must be postmark on or by December 31st, in order to claim a contribution for 2015. Online giving must be received by midnight on December 31st. Checks that are placed in the church offering during the first worship services of 2016 and dated for 2015 will not qualify for a contribution deduction for 2015. However, checks that are written, mailed and postmarked in 2015 will be deductible in 2015 though they are not received until 2016.

NEW CONNECTION GROUP CLASS: We are excited to announce that we have a new Connection Group class. The Foundations Class, which meets in the Chapel, this class is designed for married couples 20-35+-age range. We are studying the “Uncommon Marriage” Bible Study by Tony and Lauren Dungy. If you would like more information on this class, please call Ryan or Meggie Hunter at 632-9006.

KIDZ CHURCH: Is a special service for children 1st-4th grade and will meet each Sunday during the 11 AM service in the Kidz Church room. Please note Kidz Church will not meet Sunday, December 27th.

ENCORE MINISTRY is for Adults 55 years and older

ENCORE FIRST MONDAY: The next First Monday is really on January 11th, the second Monday, due to the holidays. Our speaker will be Terry Rasco. Terry will give us a report from the Philippines mission trip that he went on in December. Come and enjoy this mission experience and see how the power bands were used that we made for him. The program begins at 10:30AM and a meal will be served at 11:30AM. The cost for the meal is $7.00. Please buy your meal ticket in the church office, the Connection groups or out in the foyer after the morning services.

THE LIVING ROOM is for College Aged Students

PASSION 2016: Our last official college event will take place January 2nd-4th in Houston, Texas. Please pray for our leaders and students as they attend this conference.

   

You must realize that God loves you but you are separated from God by a sinful nature.

Roman 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

You must believe that God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ as a payment for sin.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Although humanity through sin has separated itself from God, the sacrifice of Jesus, on the cross, bridged that gap.

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us.”

All that God asks is that you repent (turn away) from your sins and accept the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross for those sins.

Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

You can make your commitment by coming forward during the song of commitment after the sermon and visiting with one of our pastors or by placing the card in the offering plate and one of our pastors will contact you. You can become a member in the following ways: 1.  By accepting Jesus Christ in your heart as your personal Lord and Savior and being obedient to the Lord’s command to be Biblically baptized. Biblical baptism is a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and is by immersion in order to symbolize the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord. 2.  By letter of recommendation from a church of like faith and order. 3.  By statement that you are a believer in Jesus Christ and have placed your faith in Him as Savior and Lord and have been obedient to a Biblical baptism.
