ELEVATE Summer Sunday School
Pre-school to Grade 6 will meet in the MP Room @
10 am. Summer Sunday School will conclude on
Sunday, August 24th.
J.A.M.
There will be no J.A.M. during the month of August.
This ministry will resume in September.
Creative Arts
Thursday, August 14th @ 3:30 pm - Creative Arts
barbeque and practice.
Church Office Summer Hours
Please note that during the month of August, the
church office will be open from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Holidays
Please note that Pastor Bruce will be away on annual
leave from July 28 – August 5. Pastor Justin & family
will be away from August 18 – 25. Pastor Angela and
Pastor Jerry will be away from August 18 -27. Pastor
Andrew will be away from August 25 – September 8.
Please keep them in your prayers as they are away.

If you have an apartment or boarding house available
for students for this coming fall, please submit your
information to Pastor David Newman, PAONL Chaplain
for Memorial University. He will post the info on the
Chi Alpha website and forward inquiries on to

Gospel Concert: Gospel Artist Lynda Randle
Lynda Randle, well known Gaither Homecoming
Gospel Artist, will be returning to Newfoundland for
another Island Concert Tour in September, 2014. She
will be in concert at the S.A. St. John’s Citadel on
Thursday, September 25th. Tickets ($32.00) are
available now at the following locations: Religious
Book and Bible House, Thorburn Road – 753 6464;
and the S.A. Christian Book Store, Adams Avenue –
579 3291. Plan now to attend and get your tickets
early.
