Neuenkirchen is a little village near Bremen.Like Bremen it´s close to the Weser, a river that flows to the North Sea. So we have also dykes here.

In the Weser there is a little island. It calls Harriersand. The children who live there, go to

our school too.The harbour you can see on the

other side belongs to Brake.

Some of our classes went to Spiekeroog on their class trip. It´s an island without traffic in the North Sea about 130 km away from Neuenkirchen. Between the mainland and Spiekeroog

lies the Wadden Sea. It is unique in the world.
