I hope that these first few weeks of Lent have been a
time of Spiritual renewal for everyone. There is still
plenty of time to take advantage of the many
opportunities in our Pastorate to deepen our Lenten
Journey.
There are also a number of social events taking place
in the next few weeks. Please see the bulletin for details.

LENTEN SERIES OF MASSES On Wednesday evenings during Lent at 7pm, Sacred
Heart of Mary Church will have Mass. We invite you
to join us as we hear each Priest’s take on the journey

NOVENA St. Rita Parish would like to invite the Pastorate to the
Novena in Honor of our Blessed Mother of Perpetual
Help every Wednesday at 7:30pm starting March 7th
in the church. We will love and honor the Blessed
Virgin Mary to ask for her Perpetual Assistance for all.
HOSPITALITY SUNDAY Join us on Sunday, March 11th, after the 9 AM, 10:30
AM, and Noon Masses for fellowship and free
refreshments provided by the Knights of Fatima.

FISH FRY Dundalk Knights are having their famous Fish Fry at
Dundalk Knights of Columbus Hall on 2111 Eilers
Ave. every Friday thru Good Friday (Mar. 30). Meals
consist of Alaskan Pollock, Fries, Cole Slaw, Roll,
Beverage and Dessert which are served between 12
noon to 6 PM. Cost is $12 each or carry out $13 each.

KNIGHTS OF FATIMA The Knights of Fatima are having a Bull Roast &
Shrimp Feast on Saturday, Apr. 14 from 7 – 11 PM at
Our Lady of Fatima Church Hall. Tickets are $45 per
person. Catering by McKinney & shrimp by Salty Dog

EASTER WINDOW CANDLES Would you like to have a loved one or intention
remembered with a lighted window candle arrangement
for the Easter season? Your loved one’s name or
intention will be on the ribbon of the arrangement. We

SACRED HEART OF MARY CEMETERY Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery opened a new section
named for Msgr. Richard Parks. You’ve been a
Catholic all your life; from the moment of your Baptism
through your burial the church is here for you. Sacred
Heart of Mary Cemetery reflects the faith and comfort
you have come to depend on. Gift your family with the

BLESSED SACRAMENT EXPOSITION On Sundays, March 11th, 18th, and 25th exposition of
the Blessed Sacrament will take place after the noon
Mass at Our Lady of Fatima until 3 pm. It will close
with recitation of Afternoon Prayer on the 11th and 25th,
and Divine Mercy on the 18th.
CONFESSIONS-MARCH 19 On March 19 every parish in the Archdiocese will offer
an opportunity for Confessions. Listed below are the
times for our pastorate.

Our Lady of Fatima 4:30-5:30 – Fr. George
Sacred Heart of Mary 6:30-7:30 – Fr. George & Fr.
Brown
We encourage everyone to receive the Sacrament of
Reconciliation during the Lenten season especially if
you have been away from the sacrament for many
years. The priests will hear confessions as long as there
are individuals wanting to go to confession even if it is
beyond the assigned times.
ARCHBISHOP’S ANNUAL APPEAL Through your support of the 2018 Archbishop’s Annual
Appeal, our parish community follows Pope Francis
encouragement to become missionary disciples as we
support the ministries that bring to life the Gospel
message across the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Through
the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal, Our Lady of Fatima
Parish receives support and assistance through offices
such as the Office of Evangelization, which supports
our Youth Ministry program, and the Respect Life
Office, which promotes the dignity of all life. If you
have yet to make a pledge to the 2018 Archbishop’s
Annual Appeal, please complete a pledge form
available in the back of the church or visit

ST. PATRICK’S DAY DINNER St. Rita Parish is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner on
Sat., Mar. 17 from 4-7PM at Our Lady of Fatima,
Brother DeSales Hall, 6400 E. Pratt St. Menu is
Homemade Irish Potato Soup, Corned Beef & Cabbage,
Boiled Potatoes, Steamed Green Beans, Assorted
Beverages, Irish Mini Cupcake. Green Beer & other
beverages will be available for purchase. Raffles,
Wheels and Socializing! Tickets are $15 in advance and
$17 at the door. Tickets available at the Parish Office
or at St. Rita’s after the 9am & 11 am Masses on Mar.
