What sets us apart :-

The Pump Stations

• Caprari-CPC is the fi rst in Australia to meet the very stringent SA Water’s

TS 68 technical standard, providing internal concrete cover of 65mm,

which acts as additional barrier protection to the steel reinforcing within

and extends the design life of a sewer pumping station to 100 years.

To meet TS 68 standard conditions, the Caprari-CPC wall thickness of the

concrete sump is a total minimum of 140mm, being 50mm external cover

( plus the 65mm internal cover ) leaving a central working area of 20mm

for steel reinforcement fi xing and placement; thus complying to all relevant

Australian Standards ie; AS3600-2009, AS3735-2001 and AS3735

Supp1-2001.

• All precast chambers are made from Angaston Marble calcareous

aggregate. The properties of Angaston Marble are unique in Australia,

providing the highest possible resistance to sulphate attack endemic

in sewers.

• Engineered to 15m depth and designed to current Australian Standards

AS 3600 & AS 3735 to withstand poor soil conditions and high water

tables. Full engineered calculations available at Caprari-CPC.com.au.

• Lifting points designed into the TOP section of each component of

the system, simplifying cranage, installation and safer removal of lifting

clutches and thus removing the need for any patching after installation

whilst eliminating chain contact damage.

• Structurally strong, each Caprari-CPC chamber has four large support

columns running down the entire vertical length of the chamber, this

provides incredible compression strength and additional protection in

harsh environments and / or diffi cult installations.

• Poly lining, unique Agru HDPE lining can be set into the concrete at time

of casting to meet the emerging demands of Water and Government

authorities in aggressive conditions such as coastal environments, thus

increasing the service life to a potential 200 years.

• External Valve Chambers. If you want your investment to last the distance,

then designing out the problem of integral valve box subsidence, due

to diffi cult / incorrect soil compaction issues is a must. External Valve

chambers are the only way to go, incredibly strong, and a proven method

to protect your external control valves and accessories ensuring they last

the test of time.

• On request the Caprari-CPC System -2 chamber is available with either

an internal valve chamber option to accommodate up to 100 mm

discharge pumps and 80 mm valves, or an integral valve chamber with a

cantilevered valve chamber to accommodate up to 200mm pumps with

150mm diameter valves where the installation has to be very compact.

• Coverslabs. The fi nishing touch to a professional Concrete Pumping

Chamber installation is the Coverslab, visible after installation the

Caprari-CPC Coverslabs, are designed to suit all load ratings from

Class “B” ( light duty ) to Class “D” ( heavy duty ) available in standard

or extended version for incorporation of switchboards and / or vent pipe

mounting, with prior design notice even your electrical conducts can be

incorporated into the Coverslab for a neat and professional installation.

• CPC are proud owners / suppliers of the WASA range of cast-iron access

covers. All our covers are designed to AS 3996 manufactured from high

grade ductile iron incorporating bolt down facilities and are machined fi t

to create the gas / water tightness seal which all pump stations demand.

With a full range of sizes available, (including multi-part confi guration)

the access opening required to suit all pump / valve sizes can be

installed when designing and manufacturing the coverslab over your

next pumping chamber.
