Come to Wakuwakuza to have fun learning about Kumamoto Castle and the history of Kumamoto. Wakuwakuza features a Kumamoto Castle VR exhibit, cosplay, a mini-theater, and more! New to the museum is our castle projection mapping exhibit that shows how the castle will be rebuilt after the destruction from the Kumamoto Earthquakes.

Starting Oct 5 (Sat), 2019, the Ninomaru Area, Nishidemaru, construction bridge, part of the Heizaemonmaru area, and part of the plaza in front of the keeps will be open on Sundays and holidays. (Interior of the keeps will still be off limits.)
・Open on Saturdays (planned times: 9AM-5PM) during the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2019 Women’s World Handball Championship.
