    clocks went to an item in theoriental section.

    A 4cm high Chinese porcelainexport gourd-shaped vase withfloral polychrome decoration,standing. This came under thehammer at 1,050 and a damaged18th century Chinese porcelaintureen with a cover, stand andboars head handles, made 520and small Chinese carved jadefrog was bought for 580.

    A small section of 18th centuryWorcester porcelain withunderglaze blue floral spraydecoration was topped by 400paid for a 11cm high tea canisterlacking its top . A sparrowbeakjug and tea bowl of the samepattern made 70 and 55respectively.

    A 19th century Meissenporcelain part tea service withDeutsche Blumen decorationrealised 420 and there wascompetition across the board for

    unusual Staffordshire figures agroup of a hound saving a childfrom a serpent sold for 200 treacle glaze pottery and Delftware Three 19th century silver
