where it’s going before it decides how to get there. Board can provide input on ideal neighborhood. HOA members are encouraged to participate in the process. A vision will surface, from this vision, board can develop a vision statement

– Focus on Achieving Core Goals – taking necessary steps to turn vision into reality. The vision provides high-level road map to plot the board’s goals. Goals can be developed into short-term and long-term goals

– Communicate With Residents – good management requires HOA keep residents in communication loop. Through this, HOA minimize conflict risk. Instead, they improve creating a more engaged and committed community

– Cultivate Leaders – too often not enough residents get involved in HOA activities. Strong community management requires new HOA leadership always be cultivated. HOA board must have ongoing plans in place to groom potential new leaders. This type of community management planning helps keep the HOA vibrant.
