On a multi-axis configuration, the pending

regenerative energy of driving axes (e.g.

lowering hoist drive) can be directly provided

on a motor-drive axis via the common dc link.

Additional excessive energy on the dc link can

be fed back into the power supply network

when using a Smart or Active Line Module

• Waste heat is reduced through regenerative

braking, compared to braking via braking

resistor

By preventing capacitive and inductive idle
