Combined Arms SupportCommand (CASCOM) is formedwhen the LOGCEN is merged with theSoldier Support Center and remains atFort Lee.

Planning for BRAC results in:CASCOM,OC&S, TS&C, QMC&S, ALMC

forming the SCOE at Fort Lee.

Combined Service Support Group created as one of two

subordinate elements of the Combat Developments Group (CDC) andactivated at Fort Lee. Designed to integrate under CDC the log and admin

support functions. Each branch school maintained their own separatedepartments of combat developments and doctrinal expertise.

TRADOC created. Three major subordinate commands

created: the Combined Arms Center (CAC), the Logistics Center

(LOGCEN) and the Administrative Center. Materiel developmentis now a joint effort. TRADOC is the primary combat developerand AMC as primary materiel developer. LOGCEN located atFort Lee.

Mission

The Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate oversees thedesign and development of Army, joint and multinational logisticsaspects of the future force, from concept to capability development;the development and integration of logistics CSS concepts,

Deputy Commander for Training 

MissionThe Deputy Commander for Training (DCT) has oversight of the analysis,design, development, and integration of effective and relevant sustainmentunit, individual (IMT and PME), and life-long learning products to support thecurrent and future force with well trained units, warriors, andadaptive/innovative leaders. Ensures life cycle training integration of Armysystems (old and new) as it applies to CSS schools and AC/RC materielfieldings. Develops, plans, and executes the SCoE ICW BRAC 2005 decisions.
