subscription? ■Who can see the

■What resources do you need to create you ePortfolio?

■Resources should enhance your ePortfolio not confuse your overall goals

■Provide the proper resource for the technology element– Academic versus public

opinion resources

Rule #3- Great Aesthetic Quality

■Visual appeal allows the viewer to enjoy navigating the ePortfolio

■Know when enough is enough– Sometimes less is more

■Proper visuals for content– Do the visuals relate to

the over theme (Neon colors might not be appropriate for Mathematically based content)

Rule #4- Know the Target Audience■The audience can dictate certain

choices for your portfolio– Content– Depth versus breadth of

knowledge– Visuals– Preference over software used

■There are multiple platforms to create an ePortfolio, be open to try new programs

■If someone is critical of your ePortfolio, see how you can use the information for improvement and move on

■An outsider looking into your ePortfolio could see glaring mistakes you might overlook

■They might offer additional resources to enhance your work

■New opportunities could be made by simply asking the right person

RULE #7 – Do not lose sight of your ePortfolios goal■Your visuals are perfect, the grammar is on point,

you selected the right software to create an intuitive experience for the viewer, yet…– The content drifts– Meaning is loss– Misunderstandings– Trimming the fat (what is excessive)
