My skills have greatly improved from the beginning of the project. When it came to planning the school magazine pages the only real research I did was looking at existing ones. As I moved onto my main task I realised I needed to not only know about how the pages are laid out and designed but the potential people who would purchase the magazine and the different genres associated with them. It’s essential to make sure you know who you are making the magazine for and that you are constantly communicating with them to make sure you are doing it right. If you don’t show your target audience different versions of your magazine they may not like what you show them, their feedback is essential into making a professional product.

My technological skills have also greatly improved over time. I could have used more basic software to create my school magazine pages but I feel using adobe Photoshop to create them allowed me to get used to how the software works. Doing this allowed me to have some understanding into how the software works when it came to creating the music magazine pages.
