What We Learned

• TEACHERS: – endurance, patience, tech issues,

multitasking

• STUDENTS:– Test attitude, proactivity,

independence, execution ability, listening skills, critical thinking – (no textbook directly telling them how to say something. They need to construct by themselves with the information they get)

Live online instruction sets higher standards for teachers and students

What We Learned

• Allows students to be more expressive of thoughts/feelings

• Saves time, create flexibility– Sick at home, learn from home– Every lesson recorded – never fall behind

• New, fresh approach to learning – Web-cam communication is ‘cool’– Good for supplementing regular courses (St. Gertrude / GLC)

• Is online learning as effective as offline learning?
