The FrontPage unit in information technology curriculum is required to achieve the eighth grade's objectives.
This software enables students to develop their own webpage. This will make the world as one small society
It will also encourage the interaction with various other cultures .
There are no prerequisites courses for this course, but the student must have some basic skills in dealing with computer which are typing using keyboard and using the mouse properly.
This course is essential for learning the advanced features in “FrontPage" in grade 11.
After this course, student will be able to:1. Create a webpage using blank document.2. Enter and edit text in the webpage.3. Enter picture on the webpage.4. Insert tables on the webpage.5. Recognize the tool bar options.6. State the use of every button in FrontPage.7. Differentiate between the uses of each
option.
We will use action model to evaluate this course in terms of:
Accessibility Teaching and learning Interactivity, user friendliness Speed
We will use questioner to measure the aspect in the course that we want to measure from the action model.
First: accessibility Is it easy to access? Is it Quickly access to course materials. Is it Flexible, since it is in a CD? Does it require any special skills to operate
the program?
Second: Teaching and learning: Is it Helpful in improving psychomotor and
cognitive skills for the learners? Can it be used as a remedial course for absent
learners? Can it be used for individualize instruction?
Third: Interactivity, user friendliness What type of interaction does it provide
(student to content ,student to machine interaction…etc)?
Is it easy to navigate? Is the interface design simple, street forward
and user friendly? are the buttons direct and clear? Does it provides clear instruction to help the
learners and avoiding misunderstanding?
Fourth: Speed: Can the content of the course be updated or
easily changed? Is the delivery speed of the content quicker
than other delivery methods?
