Who they are

Heifervescent are and indie rock band from Southport, Merseyside in the UK. They are made up of one man, Andy Doran after the end of his last band Monkeyland which disbanded in 1995. Heifervescents’ first album Hoofed and Dangerous bares

many similarities with Monkeyland

where their second album Verbal

Bandit has a more folky theme.

Their music was featured on a

Lloyds Insurance advert.

What type of music do the play?

The mainly play indie rock, however some of their songs have a folky style theme to them such as on the album Verbal Bandit. A lot of their tracks have a heavy bass line and adaptations and changes to the singers voice throughout a track.
